There are hundreds of titles with professional leagues that award prize money, host tournaments, and stream competitions online. Each of these games and leagues has their own fans and their own way of doing thi

Leona was born a warrior, but spared the life of a young boy who would lead her to the light of the Solari temple where she would harness the power of the sun. Many champions contribute to the items on this list, but few deserve their own entry. Aurelion Sol does both. Aurelion Sol is described in his backstory as a creator of stars, traveling the vast emptiness and creating what seems to be countless solar systems before he was ultimately tricked into servitude by a group known as the Targoni

Darius is the most fearsome leader in all of Noxus. His formidable stature is surrounded with excessive armor that is fashioned with large spikes. He holds a large blade, which causes extreme damage to his opponents. His other abilities include Innate and Noxian Mi

In its original version, the story of League of Legends featured a roster of champions who each represented one of the various city-states inside the game world, Runeterra. The league was set up and managed by the Institute of War to settle power disputes and maintain peace on the continent of Valoran. Each champion had their own reason for coming to the league and would serve the summoner to settle dispu

Still, esports is often treated like one entity. In reality, individual games play out more like anthologies—unconnected by the umbrella term that defines them. Like a thin layer of algae on the surface of an abandoned pool, esports as a title masks the diverse ecosystem that exists beneath the surface, suffocating its variety and preventing outsiders from getting in the water. The remainder of the season will see Supergirl having to cope with her new status as an outlaw, as well as the emergence of a Russian Supergirl clone and her first confrontation with Lex Luth

For many fans, DC's upcoming slate of movies is more exciting than what Marvel Studios has planned for Phase 4 of the MCU. Between 2020 and 2022, DC Films is currently developing more big-name properties than Marvel, who has been leading the industry in comic book film adaptations for the last dec

It’s unclear whether universal control over games that operate under the catch-all domain of esports will ever exist. Escalating conflict between streaming platforms that compete for viewer attention certainly isn’t helping the case for unified growth.
