Batman begins backtracking, and stumbles into fellow escapee Fishstick, who is mortally wounded and has some chilling news for the Caped Crusader: one of their fellow party members is an impostor and working at the behest of the games’ mysterious controll


In prior issues of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point from Donald Mustard, Christos Gage, Reilly Brown, Nelson Faro DeCastro, and John Kalisz, Batman finds himself on Fortnite Island, unable to speak or recall his memories beyond 22 minutes (the standard time of a round of Fortnite). With every battle where the storm consumes the island, Batman wakes up to fight all over again. However, despite not being able to remember his past, he still retains his skills and resourcefulness, writing himself messages so he can investigate bit by bit. After helping Catwoman escape the time loop ( as well as G.I. Joe's Snake Eyes ), Batman manages to break out of the time loop hims


But even while this legal case rages on, Fortnite is still going strong and it's still being embraced by organizations around the world. The latest group to do so is 100 Thieves, an eSports organization and lifestyle brand. The company announced on Twitter that it has used the game's creative mode to construct a faithful, life-size model of the Cash App Compound , an HQ building opened in the real world by the team earlier this year. The compound contains player training facilities, a content production studio, and a business HQ. This impressive structure can now be visited and explored in Fortnite , and to commemorate this reproduction, 100 Thieves is offering a Fortnite gear giveaway to any fan who photographs themselves visiting the compo


Epic Games hasn't said much about the event themselves, but leakers have stated it will be the biggest event in Fortnite history. These assumptions paired with the event being Marvel canon should make it one of the largest events in terms of attendants. With Marvel films turning out the number of viewers per opening weekends, and the severe lack of films released this year, one could assume that these factors could make the Fortnite Nexus War event one of the largest events in gaming history in terms of concurrent player counts and stream viewership. It would be nice for content creators to know if they will be able to safely stream the event on Twitch without the fear of a DMCA takedown notice.
