In the screenplay written by Lawrence Kasdan, the audience learns about the characters through actions rather than wo

I think that I just had a feel for her from the very beginning. I think I just love stepping into her shoes, so to speak. She's a very vibrant, bold, survivor - she's kind of an independent character and everything I aspire to be. So, it was quite a wonderful invitation to me to play a character like that. I've never punched anyone in the jaw in my entire life, and I probably will go to my grave without ever hitting anyone in the face. But I just love her boldness. I love that she, even in a situation like that, was able to speak fully the pain and disappointment and anger that she felt towards him is such a direct way. Not that I condone violence, but in the film it definitely had an impact; she's seeing him for the first time in 10 years, and her responses to just take a swing at

Jumping off Harrison, you and he have such a great on-screen relationship with you playing the warped mirror of him. How was it working with him on set and creating this history? While none of the 27 Card Sets are bad on their own, some provide much more useful effects than others. There are two sets we highly recommend you use: Forest of Giants and We'll Meet A

During the film's closing, Marion (Karen Allen) and Indy exit a government facility as Williams' hopeful theme transforms into something mysterious. It's very fanciful that I put on that white dress and a pair of high heels out in the middle of the desert. And then I seem to lose my shoes entirely in the Well of Souls. It's interesting. I don't know exactly how I got through being barefoot for all of that. Certainly, in the Well of Souls with all the snakes, it was very challenging. There were a lot of snakes there, and I had nothing on my teeth and nothing on my legs - once the skirt gets ripped, the bottom half of my legs is also completely bare. So, it does feel very much like I have no protection against the fire and the snakes and everything that was going on. I don't know, you just rise to the occasion, as they say. When you're an actor, they throw all these circumstances at you. You just have to sometimes take a deep breath and see it as a part of the adventure. What can I say? This is evident in an anecdote from production designer Rick Carter , who asked Spielberg during production on Jurassic Park how the T-Rex suddenly appears in the Visitors Center during the finale. Carter was asking logically, but Spielberg responded "from the top of the fra

**I grew up on Raiders of the Lost Ark , and absolutely love it. Steven has spoken about this quite a bit since, but it taught him that you didn't need to take all the time he was taking in making a movie before; that he could work fast without losing the quality. They had all sorts of clauses in their contract between each other, Steven and George, to make sure that Steven came in on time and under budget - which he did. It was a very fast shoot, in the sense that in Tunisia in the heat there, Steven would run between setups. The film crew was the same film crew that I'd been working with on Dogs of War immediately before in Belize, which was hot too - and humid heat. But in Tunisia, they were falling asleep at lunchtime in their food because Steven was just running them ragged. As soon as he said "Cut!" in one set, he would run across the sand to the next set and say, "Alright, I'm here! Next."
