Revolving around a future world where humanity has been forced to flee to the Moon after a sudden attack from alien beings and mechanical life forms, NieR Automata walkthrough|Https://nierautomatafans.com/: Automata tasks the player with restoring order to the world, taking on the role of one of these android warriors. It certainly sounds like the kind of high-octane action that Platinum Games is renowned

The second video, meanwhile, gives a glimpse at the game’s protagonist, an android named 2B. Square Enix had previously revealed the character, but this is perhaps the most in-depth look those excited about the title have received so far. There’s one catch, however – the video is in Japanese, so those who don’t speak the language might not get much out of it, aside from a look at the character’s design. Those interested can catch the video on YouTube, courtesy of user xenosaga7 . The first part of the gameplay video, meanwhile, is embedded be

The game will release in Japan for PS4 on February 23rd, in North America on March 7th, and in Europe on March 10th, 2017. A PC version is also scheduled to come next year, but no release window has been announced for that one.

On the other hand, Square Enix mentioned better lighting and shadows definition for PS4 Pro, but from what we can see in the comparison screenshots above, and playing the demo, those improvements might not yet be implemented in the demo. That's quite understandable, considering that we're still about two months from release.

KO: In the previous title we did have theme songs for each character, but currently for this game we don't have a track per character. Instead, I did create music per scene or per emotion, that can be used for any character at any moment. However if Director Yoko-san feels that a certain song fits a certain character more than others, then it might end up becoming a theme song for that charac

The difference appears to be less visible during cutscenes, where developers probably managed to squeeze a little more juice out of the standard PS4 due to the controlled rendering environment, bur it's still quite noticeable in elements like YoRHa 2B's hair.

Square Enix Japan doesn't seem to have trouble showing it off even in official promotional screenshots, as you can see below, and during the latest livestream, Producer Yosuke Saito even took some time to clarify that the white underwear worn by 2B isn't actually panties, but the bottom of a leot

Japanese visual novel Corpse Party will release both physically and digitally in North America for Nintendo 3DS and PC. Xseed has announced that the game will come out uncensored and with its voice acting intact. Although the original NieR , which itself was a spin-off of the Drakengard series, was fairly well received by players if not critics, Square Enix will no doubt have been disappointed to see the lack of mark that it left as a whole upon its release. Let’s see whether this new game delivers on its prom

The first set of the NieR: Automata videos will no doubt prove incredibly interesting to fans of the original. Revolving around the game’s combat, they first show a pair of characters walking around the post-apocalyptic game world, before then taking on enemies in the game’s action-oriented combat system. It certainly looks as though the game’s action has a more dynamic feel than the original, perhaps in keeping with Platinum Games’ development hist

The title also looks to have close ties to the original game, taking place after the events of the first NieR . Although Square Enix has previously stated that it works well as a stand alone title, it will be interesting to see exactly how well NieR: Automata functions as a solo game. Nonetheless, with Platinum Games on board and making the game its own , it’s bound to be a thrilling r

Our very own Giuseppe recently had an interview with Tales of Berseria producer Yasuhiro Fukaya. Since the main female protagonist Velvet wears quite a revealing outfit, some of you might have been worried to see it censored when it comes to the west. Luckily, we got to directly ask the question to Fukaya-san and his answer on the topic was quite encouraging. You can read about it in the arti

At Gamescom 2016 in Cologne, Germany, DualShockers had the pleasure to interview NieR: Automata Producer Yosuke Saito and Composer Keiichi Okabe about the upcoming game, that will be released for PS4 and PC in early 2
