The latest update on Ghost of Tsushima , provided by PlayStation , reveals several collector's editions and pre-order bonuses arriving alongside the game in June, with plenty of samurai-inspired items for fans to enjoy. Those looking to add a little extra to their experience can pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition of Ghost of Tsushima , which offers some special in-game items such as a Technique Point, Charm of Hachiman's Favor, Hero of Tsushima skin set, digital mini art book, and director's commentary, or the Limited Edition, which includes all of the previously mentioned digital goodies and a collectible SteelBook case, each retailing for $69.99. Additionally, the Ghost of Tsushima Collector's Edition will retail for $169.99 and will include a host of items including a dynamic PlayStation 4 theme, Jin Sakai avatar, Sashimono war banner, Furoshiki wrapping cloth, digital in-game extras found in the Digital Deluxe and Limited Editions, and a replica of Jin Sakai's mask – complete with a display stand. Pre-orders for these limited editions are beginning to open, so fans patiently awaiting this incredible title won't want to wait too long to get their order

Following protagonist Jin Sakai, one of the only remaining samurai out for revenge following the Mongol invasion of his homeland, Ghost of Tsushima is a dramatic story loosely based on the real-world events of the Mongol invasion of Tsushima Island in 1274. In an attempt to thwart the oncoming invasion, Jin's comrades are overwhelmed and massacred, leaving Jin to haunt the Mongol invaders who took everything from

While the InFamous games gradually incorporated more stealth components as they progressed, their anthropomorphic PS2 adventures made silent avoidance a key mechanic of the experience, as the titular raccoon and his cohorts primarily relied upon thievery as their main career choices. As Sly Cooper 2 and 3 explored new ways to push the gameplay forward, players ultimately got the opportunity to not only control other characters outside of Sly, but utilize more gadgets to gain the upper hand on a given situation, including smoke bombs for quick escapes, paragliders for quiet traversal and disguises to blend in and fool the enemies. While the combat of Ghost of Tsushima looks to focus on efficiency and a touch for the dramatic, protagonist Jin Sakai will also have the opportunity to utilize stealth to reduce the amount of enemies in a given area, which is strengthened by his tools including a grappling hook and smoke bombs, among others. As Sucker Punch refined their stealth gameplay through three Sly Cooper games, one can hope that the same reliance on verticality and quick reflexes will provide the same sense of satisfaction that made the classic games stand the test of time.

This rich set of features clearly makes Ghost of Tsushima a very intriguing experience . The complex world exploration, though, could be a risk from the developers’ end. Nowadays, players are used to being guided to the destination by precise waypoints. Ghost of Tsushima’s concept could be an obstacle that might turn the game into a niche one. On the other hand, the priceless excitement of locating the destination point after a long journey could make Ghost of Tsushima another highly praised video g

Sony has received endless praise this console generation for the number of stellar first-party titles that it has released, and rightly so. Games like God of War , Horizon Zero Dawn , and Marvel's Spider-Man stand as some of the most well-received from both critics and fans alike over the past few years. But for all of Sony's success in the PS4 era, I think what I've personally loved the most from the PlayStation brand is its willingness to publish new

Fans of asymmetrical games like Evolve or Dead by Daylight will be happy to see a brand new title coming from the development studio that brought us Friday the 13th: The Game . IllFonic, the studio behind the game, is bringing another classic horror franchise to life, this time choosing Predator instead of Friday the 13th as the backdrop for the g

Sucker Punch is one of the most admired developers in the gaming industry, and perhaps best known for creating the Sly Cooper and Infamous series of games. In 2011, Sony purchased Sucker Punch to produce games exclusively for PlayStation. Sucker Punch has always worked within short development windows, with the longest period in between releasing games being four years. The length between the release of the Studio's last game Infamous First Light and the scheduled release of Ghost of Tsushima beginner guide|https://tsushimagame.com/ of Tsushima will be six years, prompting some to wonder if the game would be better off debuting on the PlayStation

All in all, we have seen very little about Ghost of Tsushima , which is why I think I have such a close eye on it this year. Compared to other major releases that are coming up in 2020 ( Cyberpunk 2077 , Final Fantasy VII Remake , DOOM Eternal ) I feel like there are many relatively unknown factors with Ghost of Tsushima . Heck, news on the game went so quiet in 2019 that many started questioning whether or not it would end up just altogether becoming a PS5 game . That obviously won't be the case, but it speaks to how silent Sony has been with this ti
