EA announced a new Dragon Age months ago but hasn't revealed any major information about the game since then. It seems likely that EA and Bioware are waiting until the game is 100% ready to show anything off, especially after the disastrous launches of both Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem tarnished the reputation of BioWare, a studio once lauded for its masterful games. Nonetheless, the absence of Dragon Age was felt during the EA Play conference this year, forcing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to pick up most of the story-driven sl However, when looking at the long list of Microsoft and Sony franchises that could make the jump to next-generation hardware, it's fairly evidently who has the edge. Taking Star wars game power and prominent, marketable franchises into account, Sny is packing several massive names that are each easy system sellers. Horizon, Spider-Man, God of War , The Last of Us, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted; these are all series that are offering fresh, interesting concepts that fans are clamoring to see more of, and that's without even mentioning all the currently dormant franchises that Sony could dip its toes back into as w To be fair, Bethesda did say that Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI wouldn't be appearing at the show, but many fans were holding out hope that Todd Howard would surprise gamers with a new trailer or some gameplay from either title. Starfield was the more likely candidate, as it's expected a lot sooner than the next Elder Scrolls, but Bethesda stayed true to their word, and what Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI will wind up looking like remains just as much of a mystery as it was last y Considering that Xbox currently can't boast many big-name exclusives that really sell what its next-generation venture is all about, it makes sense for the company to go all out on Fable 4 and show it before the launch of its newest console. That's not to say the game should be rushed to be a launch title for the Series X; nobody wants the game to not reach its potential purely for the sake of creating hype for the Serie Updated March 23, 2022 by Allison Stalberg: Dogs and everywhere in video games, even when they are not, as recently shown in Elden Ring where players are writing messages next to turtles that just say "dog." Popular video game dogs are ever-increasing, such as the newest addition, Argos, from Final Fantasy 14 . There are also older faces that deserve attention, such as the mabari from Dragon Age: Origins . From post-apocalyptic German Shepards to bipedal guitarists, video games have given society a lot of memorable d A major complaint from many animal-loving gamers is when there are cute animals, but you cannot pet or interact with them. Luckily, Polterpup became available for pets, and he certainly deserves them for being a good E3 2019 gave us another look at the "reverse horror game" Carrion , where players get to play as the monster. While this may make the game less scary, it has no shortage of disturbing visuals, and that combined with its eerie atmosphere should still make the game rather unnerving. It will be exciting to see if the final product lives up to the hype, and if the concept of a "reverse horror game" has widespread app There are multiple reasons why a next-gen Fable should be a reboot instead of a continuation from Fable 3 . First off, a non-numbered Fable is much more welcoming than a numbered entry that continues a series that had its last official entry release ten years ago. Players can jump in without having the question about whether they should have played earlier entries to be able to even understand this new g If the rumors are to be believed, Fable 4 is exactly the kind of game that the Xbox One should've had in droves; an expansive and innovational RPG that takes the ideas behind the original trilogy and uses them to create a truly next-gen experience. Better yet, it's also proof that Xbox wants to create long-lasting and investable franchises that, much like PlayStation has done with God of War , can alter and evolve with the ti Dogs are animals with a ton of symbolic meaning. They stand for loyalty and friendship, which often makes them valued video game sidekicks. Players can't get enough of them. Even when their roles are small they are often the most valued characters. Many gamers are just programmed to love animals, especially d Shinji Mikami let it be known that he was going to be at E3 2019, but it was anyone's guess as to what new project he would announce. Instead of revealing another Evil Within game at Bethesda's E3 2019 press conference, Mikami announced GhostWire: Tokyo , which is being directed by the energetic Ikumi Nakamura . We only got to see a cinematic trailer for the game, but from what we can tell, GhostWire: Tokyo looks plenty creepy, and with Tango Gameworks at the helm, it should have little difficulty satisfying horror f This dog has become somewhat of a symbol for Undertale as a whole. The dog is just a troublemaker and appears in short instances throughout the game. It plays a part in one of Papyrus' traps, steals bones from Papyrus, is an actual bomb at one point, and absorbs an item you get for completing the difficult piano puz
