What We Said: " Quantum Break makes for what can easily be considered one of the best console exclusives that the Xbox One has seen thus far, and this is the result of a number of different gameplay mechanics and story-telling decisions. It’s true that the narrative can be a lot to take in as a result of cutscenes and the live-action television show , and even more of what is happening in the world surrounding Jack Joyce is found through collectibles and in-game emails – which some may simply just not want to read. Taking the time to understand what’s happening in the game is well worth it, though. Meanwhile the story-altering decisions may not be as impactful as fans had hoped, but they do help to see certain side characters through (at the very least) to the end of the ga What We Said: "Independent of the hype or the series’ legacy, Uncharted 4 is worth the recommendation on its own merits. From the tremendous environments to the incredible character work to the globetrotting story, the design of the game is second to none, setting a new bar for interactive experiences. It’s true that Naughty Dog puts a lot more stock into story and character, but even then Uncharted 4 is pure, unadulterated fun . Those who want to dig deeper, however, will find a story that’s engaging, mechanics that are refined, animations that are technically excellent, and writing that’s mature but also playful. In every way the game feels like the perfect send-off to a beloved character and a major Sony mascot. Uncharted 4 is the best game of this generation, proving once again that Naughty Dog is filled with master storytellers and brilliant designe During the game's development, Firaxis had difficulty determining how to handle core systems such as weapon range, displaying information to the player, and how to handle actions. As a means to quickly fix the game's unfun state, Firaxis imposed a "Mutator Mondays" event where staff could add a single change to the game that lasts a week. It is thanks to these events that grenades instantly explode, set weapon ranges were removed, and the game's UI is much cleaner. Eurogamer goes into more detail on how this system saved the game's troubled developm These are the leaders of the Sectoid soldiers, and slg Advanced strategies besides having higher base stats they also have devastating psionic attacks. Sectoid Commanders have four psionic abilities: Mind Control, Mindfray, Greater Mind Merge, and Psi Panic. The Mind control is especially nefarious, as it gives the Sectoid Commander complete control of a soldier in the player’s squad for three turns. Most mind controlled soldiers do not survive the mission. The Mind Merge gives all Sectoids in battle decent bonuses to Will (morale), health, and critical hit chance. The worst aspect is it is very difficult to distinguish commanders from normal Secto Needless to say, the game's development was a nightmare . The main issue was a development split between MicroProse wanting to create the visuals of the game while Mythos Games developed the other systems. Since MicroProse didn't understand the isometric view the title was going for, however, the two teams ended up harming each other's progress towards finishing the g Breath of the Wild 's artistic cover gives players a glimpse at the game's beauty, making them want to explore the world being shown and venture to the ominous castle that Link's body language clearly shows has his full attent Aside from the main Command and Conquer series, it's perhaps Red Alert that amped up the gaming community's love for RTS to 11. Unlike the rather sci-fi approach of C&C , Red Alert focuses more on its alternate history take of Tesla-powered Soviet Union against the hardened military might of the Allied For The Mutons are some of the most difficult enemies to defeat in every XCom game. Muton Elites are enhanced to make them even more formidable. They have some of the heaviest armor in the game, and a very high health rating. Muton Elites are armed with heavy plasma cannons; which can kill even a heavily armored soldier with one shot. Elites are also armed with explosive grenades which can negate the cover the player’s soldiers are using. They also have a suppression ability which can gives them an attack of opportunity during the player’s turn. Sometimes it seems like Muton Elites are invulnerable; which not only affects the morale of the player’s soldiers, but the morale of the pla The game's cover art is a reference to a classic religious artwork with the depiction of a sacred heart in the middle of the chest; the heart has been replaced by a grenade in Borderlands 3 's cover, possibly a reference to the "Holy Hand Grenade" from Monty Python and the Holy Gr StarCraft 2 continues the story of the Terran, Zerg, and Protoss after the events of Brood War .
