While there's nothing romantic about River's questline, it's clear to see why V and River might bond the way that they do. After all, the case ahead of them is a sensitive subject, and V with River must discover the location of the kidnapped children of the notorious serial killer, Anthony Harris, AKA, Peter Pan. River informs V that he's been let go from the NCPD, and his nephew, Randy, is one of his victims. Players will want to help River in any way that they can, proceeding through the quest until they meet Yawn Packard. When Dr. Packard asks for V's input, be sure to select: Hasn't let me down yet , to stick up for River. After leaving the building with River, head back to his car and have a conversation with him. Towards the end of the conversation, players are given a dialogue option that they will want to select: Sign me up for that beer .I Fought the Law is the first quest where players will meet River Ward, but the choices made here do not matter for River's romance; it's simply an introduction mission to River. It does not matter how players handle the enemies in the mission, or what V tells the Peralez family, or even what V tells River, as there are no consequences involved for River's future missions. Once the quest has been completed, players will have to wait a few in-game days for River Ward to call V, so just play a few quests and gigs in the meantime, or go AFK and skip time, as players are waiting for River's call to start The Hunt.Entering into Nocturne Op55N1 and speaking with Johnny about who to continue the mission with, players should ignore any dialogue options and remain on this screen for five minutes straight. It's extremely important that players do not take her money. The best outcome is to kill the Tyger Claws by siding with Judy, and then use fists to take out Maiko through non-lethal means and leave her alive and unconscious. When players return to Judy, she will give V a kiss. If players did end up killing Maiko, then they would still get the final quest for Judy's romance, but they would not get the kiss at Pisces.Achievement: The Sun – Become a legend of the Afterlife. The Sun ending requires players to have completed Rogue’s side job, Blistering Love . However, Blistering Love can only be activated if players tell Johnny Silverhand during their conversation in Chippin’ In at the Oil Fields : Yeah, I’ll call Rogue . After a date with Rogue in Blistering Love, players now have a new option path in Nocturne Op55N1 on the rooftop with Johnny:After completing Pisces, players will have to wait another in-game day until Judy calls V and asks her to meet her. Players will want to agree to meet her, and then agree to go diving with her by selecting the dialogue option: [Stand] Hell yeah, I'm in!Once players have completed Both Sides, Now, players will need to wait for Judy to message V. This message may take a few in-game hours, but the best way to trigger Judy's next quest is to head to Tangos Tors Motel in the far south of the map, and simply AFK in this spot until Judy texts. After she does, wait 24 in-game hours for her to call. It's important that during this call that players select the option: Yeah, I'll help . Upon doing so, head to Clouds and meet up with Judy to meet with Maiko. The dialogue here doesn't matter , and V is free to say whatever she wants to Judy, as the outcome is the same. However, once players reach the elevator to leave Clouds, Judy will ask if they should kill Woodman. It does not matter if Judy and V kill Woodman or not, but for this playthrough, we thought it best to indulge in Judy's desire for revenge against Woodman to show her that killing him won't solve anything. With Woodman dead, take the elevator to the ground floor, and Ex-Factor will complete.After a few in-game days of completing gigs and quests, River will text V about coming over. Players will need to select the flirtatious option : How about a new record? And then after a few more in-game hours, River will call about coming over. Players just need to accept River's invite and then meet him at Joss' place. Once V and River share a drink, select: Your parents - what happened?The story of Cyberpunk 2077 Guide 2077 begins in one of three different ways based on background the player chose: Street Kid, Nomad or Corpo. After playing through an introductory mission that varies greatly depending on the background, the player ends up with the same partner on the same mission. Once V is settled in Night City, the goal is to become a legend that will forever be remembered in the annals of who's who in organized crime such as Adam Smasher. V ends up taking jobs of a less than legal nature, and as one would expect in such things, people get killed and betrayed as the web of crime V weaves becomes ever greater and more intricate as V struggles to stay alive. Going into too many further details about the story here could diminish the experience for the player, but it does grow into something complex and memorable.
