Since the initial release of Minecraft Dungeons , there have been a couple of DLCs to expand on the game. The first was the Jungle Awakens update, and most recently was the Creeping Winter addition . Each DLC pack added new areas to explore and new bosses to take down, whether solo or in a group. They both cost $6 as separate pieces of content. However, for players that purchased the Hero Edition of the game, both updates could be automatically played. On the other hand, the crossplay update that's coming up will be free of charge for all play YouTuber and **Minecraft ** speedrunner Dream has been doxxed, in yet another blow to the controversial streamer over the past weeks. The doxxing came about after a picture of Dream's kitchen posted on his Twitter account, which was apparently enough for a few obsessed fans to use to find his personal information and location, a testament to the often destructive power of the internet as a tool for online stalking and harassm Even though Minecraft Earth will be shutdown this year, the original version of the game is still going strong with original user content and mods constantly being added on top of continuous support from the development team themselves. Players have also seen the release of Minecraft: Story Mode , a point-and-simply click Switchmixzone adventure game developed by Telltale Games, as well as Minecraft Dungeons , a procedurally generated dungeon crawler developed by Mojang itself, that have their own collection of content that is sure to keep many fans busy for years to c However, Minecraft's latest inappropriate oopsie is not the result of developer oversight, but instead caused by Twitch's midroll ad system . MinecraftJavaSpeedrunning is currently holding a Minecraft speedrunning tournament where runners compete against one another to see who can beat the Ender Dragon the fastest. During a round between runners Kiryokoe and Korbanoes, an add for baby blockers blocked the screen of Kiryukoe's stream. This was due to the stream broadcasting both competitors' streams simultaneously via a display capture source in OBS. The viewers were forced to watch the ad as if it were part of the event, but the commentators' reactions made it clear it was not. The below clip from the stream was shared on Reddit's r/LivestreamFails by user Guydangerus Mojang Studios announced that, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, that Minecraft Earth will be receiving it's final update and before being shut down in June 2021. The studio specifically points out that the game was designed with exploration and collaborative play in mind , two things that are very difficult to achieve in this day and age. Mojang has decided to allocate their resources to other projects they currently have in the works. In today's update to the doomed game, they removed microtransactions altogether and made the in-game cost of many items much cheaper in an effort to make the game as accessible and fun as possible for fans who are still play The crossplay feature was announced back in October during the Minecraft Live show . During the show, both Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons had a bunch of new announcements for upcoming features in the games. Beyond the free crossplay update for November, further content was revealed for Minecraft Dungeons going into December of 2020. Howling Peaks, which is the third DLC expansion for the game, will bring content similar to that of the previous two expansions. While Howling Peaks won't be free, a free update will be added alongside it that will provide quality of life changes and a bunch of new difficulty settings for veteran play Dream has yet to comment on his social media platforms about the doxxing, but there luckily don't seem to be any pictures of his face floating around the internet (yet), which hopefully means that no one has visited his home address. The tweet showing the picture of his kitchen has since been deleted, but the entire situation is a stark reminder that it doesn't take much for the most obsessive of fans to figure out sensitive information thanks to the internet, and the more famous a streamer is, the more likely they are to be stalked. Doxxing has always been a serious issue in the gaming world and has affected major corporations and individual gamers alike, necessitating an extreme amount of caution for anyone with any level of internet prese The ad interrupting the stream was pretty funny, but its timing is what made it hilarious. Both competitors were close to finishing their runs when the unexpected condom ad interrupted their performances. The slogan at the end of the ad asks, " What's in your arsenal? " - which is also ironic, as the commentators were unaware if Kiryukoe had added any Ender Pearls to his own in-game arsenal during the ad. For those who were holding back a chuckle during the incident, the commentators erupting in laughter were enough to tickle anyone's funny b It appears the main takeaway from all the updates is that Minecraft Dungeons is doing well, and it isn't going away anytime soon. Mojang is dedicated to connecting the player base, in the same way that Minecraft did. That's great news for any fans of **Minecraft Dungeons ** or the Minecraft Universe as a whole. Plus, more updates and DLC down the line is a promising prosp
