You get hold of a horse brush pretty early on in the game, and it's a little bit dual-purpose. Throughout your travels, your horse is going to get pretty dirty (just like you). The dirtier your horse, the quicker the horse's cores are going to drain. Brushing your horse cleans it, as does running it through a body of water. The brush also gains you some kudos from your horse, who deeply appreciates being brus Out of all the hidden masks and hats out there, this example is one of the harder to find. Head out to the Bayou right above where it says Lakay on the map. If you come across a little shack half submerged in the water, you've found the right pl The most observant among you will already know this, but I personally spent a somewhat embarrassing amount of time searching around for a manual save game option. There's nothing worse than pulling off something completely awesome, only to die and realize the game never auto-sa They seem to really care for each other as they share their home cooked meal with you. Only after passing out and waking up in a mass grave do we find out that they're not actually a couple, but brother and sister. Oh, and they stole all your c There are few companions that are going to accompany you for the entirety of Red Dead Redemption 2, but one that will be at your side for the majority of the journey is your horse. However, like any relationship worth having, you're going to need to put in some effort. Your horse isn't just going to be your buddy from the get-go; you are going to have to earn its trust. Having your horse on your good side will make Arthur Morgan's journey much easier, tho You can find a horse out in the wild and tame them, or you can buy a new horse at a stable. Either way, be sure to study your new horse and learn what you can about them. And remember that, whatever horse you choose, they're embarking on this new journey with you. They're putting their trust in you. You're becoming their new best fri This ammo can be crafted with regular bullets and your hunting knife at your camp, and having them equipped means you're going to drain your Dead Eye ability slower, making you that much more lethal for every engagement. As simple as this ammo is to make, it's pretty easy to have plenty of it on you at any given tThankfully, we've seen some hints that Red Dead Redemption 2 will almost certainly bring back some of these minigames, as a recent screenshot highlighted the game's protagonist, Arthur Morgan, and the rest of the Van der Linde gang surrounding a poker table . I had no doubts that we'll see Poker and Blackjack return to a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 , but what I'm equally hoping we see are even more eclectic minigames that truly exemplify the game's Western setting, and that can add deeper dimensions to its world. When I think back on Red Dead Redemption , there are plenty of scenes and images that immediately come to my mind that capture that game's particular sense of grandeur. There are the obvious action-packed moments, like gunfights against outlaws, heists, and robberies, and the quieter moments that truly let the game's Western setting shine: galloping out into the expanse of the West with the sun blazing in the distance always comes to mind for me when thinking back on Red Dead at its best. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel, so we all know how the story is going to turn out. We know what will happen to the Van der Linde gang. Every happy moment becomes sad knowing the eventual outcome of the plot. It's like every footstep led downwards into this puddle of gloom. Thanks, Red Dead RedemptioRed Dead Redemption 2 Cheats Dead Redemption excelled at bringing players into a vast, Western open-world; even eight years after its release, it's still one of my favorite game worlds to this day. Yet, what I also adored about the game is the fact that it proved to be just as exceptional in offering players smaller details to enjoy as much the larger ones, and a big portion of that (to me) comes from its collection of Western minigames. Most likely, your travels in Red Dead Redemption 2 are not going to be peaceful little getaways. You're going to run into many dangerous situations as you make your way through the game, and your horse is going to notice them; each and every one. From straying a little too close for comfort to a predator, to getting into a gunfight, or any number of other risky situations you get into, your horse is going to get uncomfortable pretty of There are many people to meet in Red Dead Redemption 2. The Van der Linde gang has some new faces to see and new stories to learn. It's a bit of a shame that in all of these meet-and-greets, we lose the opportunity to delve into the personalities of characters we knew from the original Red Dead RedemptMinigames in open-world titles, by most accounts, can serve as bite-sized bits of variety in-between missions or while traveling across the map; good for some mild distraction, but usually not much more. But in the rare occasions, minigames like these can add a surprising amount to the believability and depth of a world beyond just its map size and scale. Given that I put in as much time into The Witcher 3 's Gwent as I did in most other games by themselves, there's certainly something to be said that when done well, open world minigames can add so much more to a believable game world in their own right. And inside the game's world drenched in the imagery and themes of the Wild West, Red Dead Redemption 's minigames were definitely some of the best examples of that extra level of detail and immersion.
