It's perfectly fine. What's important is honesty, and understanding, not fancy words. Data Collection and Field Work Once the synopsis was approved the data collection process begins. This is the stage that requires planning. Choose who your respondents are. Design your questionnaire carefully. Be sure to ask questions that directly pertain to your objectives. Beware of fake data. Evaluators can often sense when data seems unreal. Genuine data may not be perfect, but it feels real. Even a small study with proper explanations is far better than overinflated numbers. Writing the Project Chapters The IGNOU MCom project report usually comprises one or more of the chapters below. Introduction Review of the literature Research methodology Analysis of data and interpretation Findings and conclusions Each chapter is assigned a duty. Incorporating content in a report can be detrimental. The introduction gives its context. Literature review discusses past studies. Methodology provides the background. Analysis presents data. Conclusion summarizes results. Maintain a simple language. Write your thoughts in your own words. Do not attempt to look like a journal of research. Literature Review Without Overthinking Students struggle often when it comes to literature review, because they believe that it should be extremely thorough. In actuality, IGNOU expects a basic understanding of studies conducted previously. The recommended reading list is ten to fifteen relevant sources. Then, summarize them in a concise manner and link them to your topic. Don't copy entire paragraphs. Incorporate a paraphrase while maintaining flow. Data Analysis and Interpretation This is where the collected data is presented. Use charts and tables when necessary. Make clear what the numbers represent. Do not just show data without explanation. If, for instance, the majority of respondents approve of the idea, provide an explanation of what that indicates in relation to your goal.
