As for what to expect, it's tough to say. There's very little known about the next Far Cry that isn't just a rumor or corroborated with another source. Most of the "leaks" just allege that Far Cry 6 certainly exists in some capacity, which may be true but that's a little more than obvious at this point. Each gameplay/story leak alleges something completely different, ranging from a sequel to Far Cry 3 with Vaas as a returning character to the return of a tropical setting and helping zoos with jetpacks and "Narcos" inspired elements . In case the second part of that sentence wasn't enough, it's also important to note that there's little to no backing/evidence for any of these leaks. Some early leaks for a North Korea setting were bolstered by a Far Cry /Ubisoft fan survey, but that was not conclusive by any me In recent years, there has been an uptick in the number of games that offer co-op gaming. Players have previously teamed up in some pretty big titles, including Monster Hunter World , Dark Souls , and No Man's Sky , among others. It looks like 2019 will bring even more big co-op titles to players, including games from Nintendo, Ubisoft, and Bethesda, as well as other developers. Co-op gameplay will continue as a trend into the year. Here are some of the most promising games to look forward to in 2 Soon Far Cry fans will be entering this period for Far Cry 6 as it will likely be shown during the Ubisoft Forward showcase. For the last game, Far Cry 5 was officially teased by Ubisoft about four days prior to the official reveal in 2017. That would mean Far Cry 6 teasers could show up as early as next week, with Ubisoft Forward scheduled for Sunday, July 12. Assuming Ubisoft and the Far Cry team opts for a similar tease for Far Cry 6 , fans may able to narrow down and debunk the many rumors circulating about Far Cry 6 very s After all, Far Cry 5 didn't have a definition "exotic" location, it made a location exotic. Many were surprised when they learned it was Montana, but eventually, it was a clear choice. The cult of Joseph Seed took a seemingly common and okay location and molded it into Ubisoft's formula, and so Far Cry 6 should mimic this. In other words, instead of choosing something incredibly exotic, a real-world location with a twist is all it really ne Bringing back meaningful world manipulation to Far Cry 6 could once again highlight the player freedom that the series is known for. Stealth mechanics from Far Cry 3 onward were vastly improved from Far Cry 2 , including detection meters and more realistic enemy behavior. Bringing back real time progression and the manipulation of enemies and outposts could help players further customize their playstyle. The game could implement missions that involve guard shift changes, requiring players infiltrate outposts or complete missions at a specific time. Or if a player wants a stealth advantage, they could wait until nightfall for less enemies. It was an interesting aspect of Far Cry 2 that would seem right at home with the newer entries in the franch Seed created a legacy, put his family first, and had conviction in his beliefs (that turned out to be right). This idea that his insanity was actually based in something took Seed to a new level, leading fans to be happy with his surprising return in New Dawn . This added a new layer to the character, perhaps giving him more depth than others, and is something Ubisoft should replicate. The antagonists of New Dawn , Mickey and Lou, Farcry6zone.com were the opposite though. They really had no depth and committed evil for evil's sake; in other words, the Far Cry 6 villain should take more after Joseph Seed than Mickey and Lou, replicating success and learning from mista Among other rumors and leaks, the next game in the off-kilter shooter franchise has been confirmed to be in development from leakers and big name media who've been correct before. It's been a few years since a proper Far Cry sequel has come out, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched to expect a new entry coming soon. Ubisoft Forward would be the perfect opportunity to unveil or tease the game, especially if it's going to be due next Spring like us Obviously that would be conjecture if it weren't for the many rumors and leaks that back this up. Most notably, back when Ubisoft confirmed five triple-A titles were releasing during the 2020-2021 fiscal year, all but one of these games have been officially revealed. So far, Assassin's Creed Valhalla , Watch Dogs: Legion , Rainbow Six Quarantine , and Gods & Monsters have been unveiled. Many reports since then have stated that Far Cry 6 is the fifth triple-A title coming from Ubisoft this fiscal year. Several other rumors and leaks have corroborated this as well, among other unconfirmed gameplay deta Until we get an official confirmation from Ubisoft, it's hard to gauge what to expect from the next Far Cry game. At the very least we know that the project exists from outside sources, so the anticipation is certainly there. Incorporating elements from one of the more divisive Far Cry games so far could serve to aid the next game in the ser
