Turret-using heroes can be a pain, and Symmetra is the queen of robotic minions doing the hard work. By sending out relatively small robots, they laser the enemy to death. It can take a moment to find them when well-placed, adding to the annoying nature of her main abil Not everyone can fly, so those who can have a great advantage. Pharah shoots into the air and then blows her enemies up while also making them shout in anger as they die. Between her weapon and airstrike of an Ultimate, she is one of the deadliest heroes to go up against when someone knows how to control her limited fuel supPharmercy - a romantic pairing consisting of Pharah and Mercy - was an early development which the game itself seemed to emphasise. The airborne rocket trooper was incredibly fast and deadly, although her small amount of health meant that getting into risky scrapes would often result in death. But with Mercy by her side, who clings onto allies to heal them in a pinch or zoom into the fray, Pharah becomes an airborne killing machine capable of wiping out entire teams. Matches would always be populated with the combo as two feminine spectres flew through the air, raining hell down from above while never accepting death. Their mutually-beneficial partnership created a mechanical bond that quickly morphed into an emotional relationship. Hammond has high mobility and a lot of independence, so he's a good character to run solo more than anything else. Still, his fire rate is powerful for both assault and flanking. A damage boost from Mercy or Ana will make him a true menace as wPharah is a lesbian. One of Overwatch ’s most beloved heroes has been the intense focus of queer pairings and headcanons since the first game’s release in 2016, and Blizzard has now confirmed our long-held sapphic suspicions as part of an upcoming Pride event. Pharah sits alongside Tracer, Soldier 76, and Baptiste as one of many queer characters, although some of them were retroactively blessed with this queerness instead of it being part of their origins. This brings up an interesting debate, and the community has been hashing out the value of LGBTQ+ representation which didn’t exist when the foundations were built, but was subtly added through future updates and multimedia stories that don’t even exist within the game itself. It can be easy to label Overwatch’s handling of queer characters and themes as hollow rainbow capitalism, even more so when Activision has a habit of dropping huge revelations like this alongside evolving workplace scandals or big stories that it wants to distract you from. Pharah feels like an unfortunate coincidence, but it’s hard to forgive its awkward timing when it’s flanked by a damning Bobby Kotick article that brings years’ worth of scandals screaming back into the headlines. It’s gross, and puts an unfortunate spin on a big reveal that fans have a right to be excited about. I used to play Overwatch every day. It was a game that defined my time in university. My flatmates and I would often play games in the evening or speculate about future seasonal events and loot drops. Another important point about playing Tank is knowing when to push. A huge strength to Ramattra is getting to play both Ranged and Melee Tank during a fight. Use your long range abilities to weaken the enemy tank or look for kills behind them. Once your team is in an advantageous position, you can use Nemesis Form to push forward and take space, while also trying to pick up kills in the proc For the longest time, Soldier 76 brought a Call of Duty style to the DPS heroes. Sojourn is a more acrobatic version with her slide that can send her flying through the air. While her machine gun shoots fast, her overpowered alt-fire can one-hit a majority of heroes. Even if it is not a single hit, she can take tanks down quickly if she manages to nail headshNew heroes were a major event, and I can still remember the bitter looks of jealousy on their faces as I attended BlizzCon and got to try out all the new things before anyone else. Before the live-service rot began to take effect and a needless sequel reared its head, Overwatch 2 Guide meant something to me. This investment also factored into its queer community at a time when no representation was confirmed in the game itself. It was all fanart, fanfics, and pairings birthed from our own imaginations. But we wouldn’t care so much if the game itself wasn’t brimming with potential. A title centred around her earliest days as a Talon operative while coming to terms with the death of her husband and killer abilities would be an emotional whirlwind of a game. It could focus on sniping and stealth missions as its main gameplay, echoing that of experiences like Sniper Elite and Hit Omnic Form Ramattra is best used at range, so always make sure that when you use Nemesis Form, it either finishes a fight or ends in a safe place. The worst thing for Ramattra is to run in with Nemesis Form and have nowhere to go when that timer is up. Try to use Nemesis Mode as a finishing tool, and not for initiatio
