The dialogue in this game is top notch, even when juxtaposed with prior Rockstar Games projects. The characters feel like real people and less like larger-than-life cartoons from titles like GTA V . With that being said, several phrases are repeated several times too many, to the point where they start sticking out. Arthur and Dutch like saying "bad business" in reference to deals or any meeting they find fishy. It's almost like the catchphrase for the entire g The song that stood out the most for me personally was Revenge Is A Dish Best Eaten , which served as the musical counterpart for the game's mission of the same name. It begins with an elegant string section, calling into mind the city of Saint Denis and the lavishly devious character of Angelo Bronte. Soon after, an eerie horn emerges into the piece, serving representative to Dutch in a tension-building contrast to Angelo Bronte's strings. The two instruments, while complementing each other, build two separate forms of tension in the same way that the ego-centric, power-hungry personalities of Dutch and Bronte clash with one another. The two personalities dance around with each other until they can no longer coexist. The horns build, rapid guitar strums emerge, then we experience an unnerving high set of strings, right before everything stops all at once for a brief moment. In that brief moment, Dutch kills Bronte. Right as it passes, a heavy string section crashes in to represent Arthur Morgan's horror in realizing just how far Dutch has strayed from the man he once k Some games free the player of responsibility. Killing someone might not have any consequences. An evil act may go unpunished. If there aren't any witnesses, then it doesn't matter. That moral vacuity doesn't translate well in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 . What you choose will affect you as the game develops. One decision early on will bear fruit or consequences, depending on what you've done. And the decision to help those around you or to forego a killing blow might influence how people respond to Whether you're looking to jump back into the immersive world of Red Dead Redemption 2 , or you just need some good theme music to cruise around town with your ten-gallon hat on, you can't go wrong with The Music of Red Dead Redemptio Well, it turns out only 3 main characters from the single-player campaign can be seen in the online mode. Sadie Adler is one of these people and it's no surprise considering she's a fan favorite and has had the best post-Van Der Linde gang life out of the bunch. If you finish the story and want more Sadie simply jump into the online m When you have to travel in an open-world game, speed is essential. Style, though, is something oft-overlooked. With that in mind, let's pay homage to the humble horse. The beasts are faster than humans. Horses look much cooler when they gallop. A man riding a horse looks suave. A man that isn't riding a horse is just, horseless. And let's not forget that you can ride them while using the Cinematic Camera. Because nothing says traveling in style like riding a horse while admiring the panoramic views. Horses are the bNow, this is kind of an iffy choice, since she can also just go full-on renegade and be a total jerk to everyone. But while she may come across as a bit gruff, Shepard is someone who always seems to make time to help everyone on her crew deal with whatever problem they may have, click despite having the entire fate of the universe resting on her shoulders. Even if it involves flying across the galaxy and inserting herself into situations that she really doesn't have anything to do with, she does it anyway because her crew needs her, and that's what good commanders do. In the game's bid for realism, Arthur's hair, both on his scalp and face, grows throughout gameplay. As days and nights pass, his head gets progressively hairier, to the point where he looks like he's been living in a cave for years. It certainly adds to the immersion, but it's also pretty funny to see him show up with a beard and long locks after a time jump. Fortunately, barbers are never too far away to make him more presentable, if that's what the player wa The sequel shows a somewhat different character. In the crossroads of an existential dilemma, Dutch must choose between changing his entire identity to save his band of followers or fall victim to his own fallacies and authoritative attitude. Dutch is one of the most conflicted characters in the entire series, struggling with his devotion to living free while still chasing a life of everlasting peace for his gang. He truly believes in himself, as much as his followers do, which drives him into the very state of insanity we find him in during the origiDespite being in a world where sticks with rocks attached at the end are the height of scientific ingenuity, Aloy takes it upon to learn more about her surroundings and how to help the various terrified villages around her. Personally, if people were as mean to us as they were to her, we'd probably say screw them when the robo-raptors attacked them. But Aloy is inquisitive and compassionate, and even if people are generally awful, she'll still go out of her way to save them. As an added bonus, she also probably has a lot of cool stories to tell about the various dino-machines she's managed to ride.
