The Dark Elf and Nord-dominated island sits at the very edge of the series’ known world, with small towns like Raven Rock etching out a living on what used to the the frontier of the contracting Empire. As well as being one of Skyrim ’s most interesting settings, Solstheim also has a lot in common with the Living Lands, the setting for Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming first-person RPG Avow However, there were a bunch of major titles, some expected to launch later this year, which also went missing in action at the all digital event. As it stands, the classic first-person RPG formula tells a story through its quests, and presents the player with an open-world to explore. Until exploring that open world begins to create dynamic stories in its own right, it’s unlikely any new entry to the genre will be considered a worthy next-gen successor to Skyr Obsidian Entertainment is one of the most respected western RPG studios in the industry. To do so, Avowed will need to solve one problem found back in Skyrim , but also more recently in The Outer Worl Another game that was likely a longshot to be shown at E3 2021, the biggest hurdle Pragmata came up against was another lengthy delay which pushed its already distant 2022 release date a year later into 2023. Still, fans were at least hopeful to learn a little more about the intriguing game as well as maybe view another teaser trailer.
