Let my terrible online shopping experience serve as a cautionary tale. I bought a few items over a week ago, specifically planning for Yankees opening day, and the lack of communication has been astounding. I attempted to contact them by email, phone, and Instagram, but got nowhere. The initial tracking number provided hasn't even updated. It has been such a disaster that my conclusion is simple and stark:
Your site sadly seems like a scammer site. I will never do business or recommend your site ever again.
When I finally did get an update, they only sent me 1 hat out of the 3 items I ordered and tried to blame shipping on USPS, even though the items were literally shipping to a different boro. This chaos compelled me to leave this review and seek out customer service immediately.
Customer: Good afternoon. I am calling about order [XXXXX]. I purchased a few items from you about a week ago, and they still did not ship. The tracking number you provided hasn't been updated, and I ordered these for the Yankees opening day which has now passed.
CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the silence and the lack of updates regarding your order. Let me pull up your information right away. I see here there was a partial shipment error, and only one item was initially sent out.
Customer: "Partial shipment error?" And why was I sent only one item when I ordered three? You cannot blame USPS when the inventory was clearly incorrect or processing was inadequate on your end. Last time I ordered it only took three days.
CS Rep: You are absolutely right, and I am very sorry for the way this was handled. We clearly failed to communicate the stock issue promptly. I am initiating a full refund for the two missing items right now, and I can expedite a separate shipment for the correct sizes if you still want them?
Customer: No, I am done. I placed this order for a specific deadline that has passed, and I do not trust that the second shipment will actually arrive. I want the refund for the missing two items immediately, and frankly, I feel I deserve a credit for the inconvenience of this entire process.
CS Rep: I understand completely. If you have any queries relating to wherever and how to use my response, you can call us at the page. The refund for the two unshipped items is processed now. Additionally, as a concrete apology for the extreme frustration and poor communication, I am issuing a 20% credit on the single hat you did receive. That credit will appear within 3-5 business days.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
