Although the zombie genre seems to be overdone nowadays, with many undead video games getting overshadowed by The Last of Us 2 , there's another post-apocalyptic title coming exclusively to the PS4 that fans might want to check out. Days Gone is a survival horror adventure that follows a former outlaw now bounty hunter through a world ravaged by a global pandemic that killed most humans and turned the rest into zombies, the kind of zombies that evolve. Days Gone also features a dynamic weather system, as well as a day-night cycle that affects zombies, too: they're a lot faster and aggressive at night, similar to Dying Lig Fatherhood in _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ might be a little more subtle as a theme than it was in the first game. Main character Arthur Morgan fights against time in many different ways throughout the story of the game, so it’s not particularly surprising that he doesn’t really have the chance to play the role of father in the game. Arthur actually once had a son, which he reveals through a missable side conversation in the story, but he and his mother were murdered in a robbery before the events of _ RDR But that's still two years away, and that means that there are still a lot of great games releasing exclusively on the PS4. Some of the games expected in 2019 are probably some of the most highly-anticipated games in recent years. Not only will Naughty Dog finally release The Last of Us 2 , a follow-up to its 2013 zombie action adventure title, but Hideo Kojima should, hopefully, release death stranding 2 missions|https://Deathstranding2world.com/ Stranding , his first title since his controversial departure from Konami. The new year will bring a little something for everyone on the PlayStatio Whether directly or not, Red Dead Redemption 2 ** and Death Stranding** both deal with the theme of fatherhood in a major way. The settings of the two games are quite different from each other, with the former taking place in the American old west while the latter is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi game, but the main characters in both stories deal with fatherhood or father figures throughout the entirety of the games. The theme of fatherhood is also especially significant in the predecessor to _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ and and other Kojima games before _ Death Strandin Before Kojima left Konami, he was working on one of the most highly anticipated projects at the time: Silent Hills . Players were given a glimpse at what a Silent Hills game would look like with PT , or the Playable Teaser, and many thought it was one of the most unique horror titles available. Sadly, Konami canceled Silent Hills and PT was removed from the PlayStation Store not long after. Recent rumors suggest that a Silent Hill reboot is, in fact, in the works. While it seems unlikely that Kojima Productions will be involved with the project (considering that Konami still owns the franchise) anything could happen. The company did, after all, show they knew what they were doing when they released PT in the first pl Of course, there is no video game franchise more tightly linked to Hideo Kojima than Metal Gear Solid . Sadly, it is quite unlikely that the series' creator will ever be able to return to the Metal Gear games, given that they are still owned by Konami. If a reunion between the two companies ever were to happen, however, fans would likely wonder about the possibility of a new Metal Gear game. Unfortunately, it seems like the franchise is simply over for g Sony just concluded its fifth year with the PS4, but the console remains popular among gamers. It continues to break sales records, and recently had a total of over 86 million units sold in its lifetime , beating out Xbox 360's lifetime sales. Five years, though, is a long time, meaning that the PlayStation 5 could see its life cycle end in a few years. A lot of speculation now surrounds the PlayStation 5 in the industry, with hints that Sony may announce the PS4's successor next year for a release in 2 Dutch was the leader of their gang, so he sort of served as the overarching father figure for everyone in the crew, especially Arthur who was his right hand man up until Micah nefariously replaced him. Arthur’s conflict , both with Dutch and himself, throughout the game has a few similarities to a "normal" father-son relationship. In _ RDR 2, _ when Dutch continually puts Arthur’s ideas down and constantly questions his loyalty, it starts to make Arthur doubt not only Dutch but also hims Rockstar Games and Kojima Productions have dealt with this sort of theme in the past. _ Red Dead Redemption _ was entirely about fatherhood with main character John Marston struggling throughout the entire story just to keep his family safe. The insanely huge and complex story of the _ Metal Gear _ franchise touches upon the theme of fatherhood throughout the multiple games connected to it. It’s clear to see that both developers enjoy writing around this theme in particular which has led to comparisons between Red Dead Redemption 2 and Death Stranding _ . _ In either case, dads are a big deal in these ga
