The Nintendo Switch is home to some truly amazing JRPGs, and one need only look at the latest addition to its lineup to understand why this is the case. By all accounts, Project Triangle Strategy looks absolutely brilliant and worth any person's time who loves the 2.5D art style that has come up recently and wants to see more SLG Mobile SLG Games in the same vein. Of course, the fact that this is a strategy JRPG is bound to entice some people as w The story in this game is dense. There are a lot of characters and terms used that can be hard to follow. This is just the demo too so who knows how complicated the main game will get. It would be nice if these conversations had text logs. To bring up Persona 5 Strikers again, that game lets players hit a button in order to scroll back through what characters just said accompanied by voice work if it was already th The Heavy Floater does not have the toughest armor, or a particularly high damage potential, but its special abilities more than make up for those deficiencies. The most exasperating ability is that Floaters can launch themselves to any location in the battle zone. This is annoying when a Heavy Floater is near death then launches out of range. They can also bombard an area, which usually negates the cover the player’s soldiers are hiding behind. Lastly, when they are airborne, a Heavy Floater can evade incoming fire; which lowers the accuracy of the player’s soldiers by The Mutons are some of the most difficult enemies to defeat in every XCom game. Muton Elites are enhanced to make them even more formidable. They have some of the heaviest armor in the game, and a very high health rating. Muton Elites are armed with heavy plasma cannons; which can kill even a heavily armored soldier with one shot. Elites are also armed with explosive grenades which can negate the cover the player’s soldiers are using. They also have a suppression ability which can gives them an attack of opportunity during the player’s turn. Sometimes it seems like Muton Elites are invulnerable; which not only affects the morale of the player’s soldiers, but the morale of the plaThe story takes place decades after the XCOM: Enemy Unknown with the cannon conclusion being the so called "bad" ending. Humanity, as one would expect, suffered an unmeasurable loss being that it was unable to stop the alien invasion and has since been taken over, but not necessarily to the degree a lot of fiction tends to lean towards. This isn’t aliens downright enslaving humanity, but instead helping it off the ground by introducing new and improved technology, among other things. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, though, as there are always conspiracies, and being an alien force, their intentions aren’t entirely for humanity’s sake. We liken them towards Nazis in that it’s a far more controlled and brutal way of ruling where, if someone steps out of line, they won’t hesitate to end them, whereas if you’re contributing member of society, they will leave you alone for the most part. They also don’t really have much of a regard for human rights or casualties where they’re willing to experiment on people without any regard for their wellbeing. Because of this new line of dictatorship from the alien invaders, there is a rebellion that has formed. Unfortunately, the sect you become a part of is small, very small, so it’s difficult to make a meaningful impact like you did in the original game. Your resources are limited, your time is short and your man power is usually understaffed. It’s a grueling situation, and for that, the story feels far more intriguing as you progress. That is to say they released a demo to the public in the hopes that they can then gather feedback for the final release. Chances are they will launch another demo down the line showcasing their progress on Project Triangle Strategy. Hopefully they can change that name because it is a mouthful. There are bigger things in this game that need fixing tho Project Octopath Traveler was one of the first games shown for the Nintendo Switch. While it did eventually go to PC, it remains one of Nintendo’s bigger console exclusives. Now that team at Square Enix is back with the same strategy in a new 2D game in Archons are basically Floaters that have been given upgraded weapons and an appearance that give them the look/style of the Egyptian gods. These flying aliens have a very high defense rating, increased health, and are armed with staffs capable of ranged attacks. Archons are also immune to flanking attacks. They have a special ability called "Blazing Pinions", which are essentially missiles that deal respectable damage and destroy any cover the player’s squad may be hiding behind. When severely injured in battle, an Archon can go into a battle frenzy which gives them extra actions per t Their power only continues as you get into their special equipment . Claymores are also at their disposal to take out cover and weaker enemies, while their Banish ability allows them to empty their entire magazine into an enemy. There is virtually no reason to not have a Reaper in your party, as they do everything a Sniper does with significantly more power in their unique activated abilit
