In March of 2017, a parent took to Twitter to complain about how her daughter had got into trouble for calling another student a " Hanzo main " at school. The teacher didn't even get the reference and penalized the child for no other reason than it was clearly intended to be an insult. Word of the story got out and the official Overwatch Twitter account responded favorably to the story. They reiterated their love of Hanzo and their hatred for name calling, but they still commended the kid for her love for Overwa Since its release in May last year, Overwatch has dominated competitive play with a passionate fanbase and continued updates on its character, with the game's latest balance changes offering some tweaks for a few of the game's Her Hanzo is a member of the Shimada family, who once worked as assassins. They eventually used their position to form their own criminal organization. Hanzo was the heir to the leadership position and seemed ready to take over the responsibility. His younger brother, Genji, was content to use the family's money to fund his playboy lifestyle, which worried some of the high ranking members of the Shimada organization. When Hanzo's father died, he was forced to try and straighten out Genji, in order to stop him from wasting his life. Honda main" or "Mr. Mime main" in online c Competitive multiplayer shooters are not only competitive these days in the sense of proving their ability to offer engaging multiplayer experiences, but even more so for proving that they will have lasting communities built around them to last for at least a few months (or hopefully years). Against multiplayer mainstays like Counter-Strike , Dota 2 , League of Legends , the latest editions of Call of Duty or Battlefield , and more, the chances of a lasting community around a new multiplayer title grow slimmer each year: thankfully, Overwatch seems to have proven the opposite in so many ways with a bustling and vibrant community, whether it's been in-game or on the game's subred The time it takes to hack a target has been decreased from 1 second to 0.8 seconds **Developer Comments: ** Sombra often had difficulty hacking enemies, even when she surprised the target. This change should help her execute hacks more eas If you talk to players who queue up in Competitive Mode, they all agree to hate one thing: Leavers . But when you delve further into that topic, the conversation gets skewed, and people start talking about accountability. There seems to be two main camps, those that want to make it easier to rejoin a match once you've been disconnected, and those that want to increase the penalty for leaving a competitive match. The problem with leavers is that they force the remaining players to continue the match with five players versus six. Even if for a small amount of time, this can have drastic effects on the outcome of the game. So though a minority of players feel like they shouldn't be punished for disconnecting, most other players agree that maybe they shouldn't be playing Competitive Mode in the first place with a shoddy connection. Which is why it seems a little problematic that Pharah's Raindancer and Thunderbird skins allude to the cultures of certain Native American tribes, in name and design, though she is explicitly Egyptian. She is the daughter of Ana, who is also Egyptian, and was formerly enlisted in the Egyptian Army where she held the rank of Security Officer. With so much attention given to backstory and especially to the linguistic verisimilitude of the voice actors, it's difficult to pinpoint why these skins exist. Many Native American players have called for an easy solution: Give us a Native American hero. This might actually be Overwatch 's intentions, or a brilliantly crafted retcon, because Reinhardt is not stated as Pharah's father despite his romantic history with Ana.
