Sucker Punch Productions officially unveiled their latest game, Ghost of Tsushima , during Sony PlayStation's E3 2018 press conference, giving consumers their first look into a brand new open world game set in feudal Japan. Open world games have somewhat stagnated in recent years, but that's something that the developers behind beloved game franchises such as inFAMOUS and Sly Cooper are looking to change with their new title, which will eventually release exclusively on the PlayStatio If you've been to Japan, you know that there's no shortage of beautiful, exciting places to go, whether it be the rural or urban areas. Now, Sucker Punch has a huge opportunity to take advantage of this beautiful country using the full power of the PS4. With visual spectacles like God of War, Uncharted 4, The Order: 1886, Horizon Zero Dawn and more showing what the PS4 can do at its full potential, the prospect of just how beautiful Ghost of Tsushima could look really does excite me quite a Over the past year and a half, The Division developer Massive Entertainment has worked hard to refine and improve its game into an experience that meets fan expectations. And with The Division 2 , it appears Massive is further building on that foundation, albeit in a new setting. Even just the change of scenery to Washington D.C. gives The Division 2 a fresh perspective, as players battle warring factions around our nation’s capital. It also sounds as though Massive is greatly improving the endgame in The Division 2 with the introduction of specializations. All told, The Division 2 could be a better version of the game that set the record for best selling new Originally revealed at last year's Paris Games Week press conference , Ghost of Tsushima is a brand new property from Sucker Punch Productions. The first-party Sony studio is best known for their work on the Sly Cooper and inFAMOUS series, and the developer most recently released inFAMOUS Second Son and inFAMOUS First Light back in 2014. Now, they're back with something drastically different from their past titles, although the open world structure and stealth mechanics can be traced back to their work on inFAMOUS and Sly Cooper , respectiv Sucker Punch’s open-world game set in feudal Japan blew us away at E3 2018. With stark visuals and an approach that favored realism, Ghost of Tsushima is trying to create a Samurai adventure that is as authentic as possible. Sucker Punch is clearly working hard to ensure Ghost of Tsushima delivers a compelling game and narrative without going over-the-top. There is still a lot of Ghost of Tsushima that is left unsaid, but for an initial tease, what Sucker Punch brought to E3 was enough to leave us intrigued. It says a lot that something as seemingly simple as leaves moving on the ground had everyone talk PlayStation fans knew to expect Ghost of Tsushima at Sony's E3 2018 press conference, https://Tsushimalegend.Com but those expectations didn't make the trailer that Sucker Punch Productions showed any less impressive. The Washington-based developer showed fans that they've been hard at work during the past four years and that development is going well on the PlayStation 4 exclusive. The latest video starred the game's protagonist Jin, who is the island of Tsushima's " only hope against the ruthless Khan and his vicious empir Overall, Ghost of Tsushima's gameplay was every bit as impressive in great detail as it was shown during Sony's press conference. One of the things highlighted during the hands-off gameplay presentation was the physics-based engine and the realistic blood patterns. For instance, players will be able to see the exact spot they hit an enemy with their katana. And every individual blood particle has been designed to splatter as realistically as possible. Hopefully, we get to see more of that as the game continues to be refined in developm There are still a lot of questions that I have about Ghost of Tsushima. The game has been hidden from PlayStation fans for many years, and I'm sure many of you were just as surprised as I was when we found out this was Sucker Punch's next epic tale. I want Ghost of Tsushima to be great; in fact, I want it to be looked to as the precedent for samurai games and more. My E3 dream is that this will be the samurai game I've always dreamt of play There's been an absence of serious stories revolving around samurai, and I so desperately want that gap to be filled by a game that not only features a gripping narrative, beautiful Japanese visuals, and bloody yet oh-so-satisfying combat, but one that also gives us a more personal look at the virtues and mentality of the soldiers during this riveting time in the country's long history. We've already seen small glimpses hinting at all of these things in the game's reveal trailer . I was initially more than apprehensive thinking about a Western developer tackling such demanding hopes, but Sucker Punch has proved to me that they can create games that are special and resonate with PlayStation's most dedicated fans: there's no doubt about that. The developer has had many years to really flesh this game out, and with Sony behind them, I trust they're tackling this project with the utmost care it deser
