Over the past two years, Bungie has done good work slowly removing some of the more disturbing aspects from the Eververse store. Gameplay-focused items like armor, sparrows and Ghost shells have been moved out of the store and are, like in Destiny, offered as in-game rewards. At this point in time, the Eververse store purely sells cosmetic items, including weapon ornaments, emotes and finishers.Destiny 2 updates 2: Shadowkeep takes the idea of Forsaken’s Annual Pass and splits it up into different chunks. Year 3 of Destiny 2 is spread across four Seasons that players must purchase to enjoy Seasonal Activities, exclusive cosmetics and special Exotic quests. Each season will set you back $9.99, though the first season, Season of the Undying, is free for everyone who purchases Shadowkeep.Outside of the new story, locations, enemies and Gambit, most of Forsaken’s changes lie in its quality-of-life improvements. From the addition of in-game lore to random rolls for weapons and gear to an in-game accomplishment tracker, Bungie has done an excellent job bringing back popular features they nixed when jumping from Destiny to Destiny 2. The good news is that all players can enjoy these improvements whether or not they own Forsaken.The dreaded Eververse store is back and Bungie really wants you to know about it. Previously, the store was relegated to the Tower and completely skippable. That’s no longer the case as Bungie has slapped the storefront into the Director, a menu players need to frequently bring up.Gambit is an excellent game mode when working with a functional team. It provides plenty of tension and excitement as both teams race to the finish and pulse-pounding action during an invasion. Like all team-based modes, Gambit is best when played with a group of friends. A team that fails to work together will quickly lose. Considering Gambit is a best of five game mode, keeping a solid squad together is vital. Destiny 2 : Season of the Worthy has been dubbed one of the worst seasons by some avid Destiny 2 players while others say it's the calm before the storm; as the story and gameplay is severely lacking, void of depth and meaningful progression. A lot of questions from previous Seasons have been left unanswered such as the state of Eris' Morn mind and allegiance, and the current standing of Uldren Sov, enemy turned Guardian. Players have yet to see the outcome of the Guardians and Vanguards alliance with Rasputin, as well as the resulting aftermath in taking on the Almighty and destroying it for good. Until then, here's a guide on some loose ends players may want to tie up before witnessing the end of Season The third Destiny 2 dungeon, the Prophecy Dungeon has a recommended Power Level of 1040 , and some of the enemies have Power Levels of 1060. Before starting the dungeon, rank up your characters to the max Power Level to increase your chances of walking out of this dungeon al Trials of Osiris has returned to Destiny 2 this season, albeit with some mixed reviews, but none the less rewards players with triumphs and the Flawless seal for a variety of completions. Going flawless awards players with Trials specific weapons as well, so players should win frequently in order to add them to their arsenals. While most of these triumphs for the Flawless and Conqueror seals are labeled "available only during the season of the worthy", these seals will not disappear and might merely require different Triumphs to complete them in further seasons ahLikewise, it’s nice that we finally got a new race of enemies to battle. The Scorn may have some relation to the Fallen, but they look and fight differently. The Scorn brings enemies that rush the player, swing fire-infused maces, attack mid-range and snipe from a distance. They’re not wholly unique from the current crop of enemies, but they provide a good change in pace. Any of the reload perks, be it Enlightened Action , Perpetual Motion, Rapid Hit , or Frenzy, are all great, allowing this weapon to really slide into the Submachine gun's territory in terms of how often players can keep their damage up. Paired with Destabilizing rounds, this weapon really does function like a Submachine gun, more so than Warden's Law, with a pure add-clear perk designed to spread damage around. Players who rely on Void Keywords for their build, or just want a new Void weapon, should get a good roll out of t Last week in Destiny 2 May 12th- May 19th, was the final week for Iron Banner this season. With it, goes the chances of obtaining the ritual weapon through the seasonal quest "Cast in Iron". This season, Iron banner offered a ritual weapon for the first time ever, while also being the only playlist to award players with a ritual weapon at all. The legendary bow Point of the Stag has excellent PvP potential as a precision frame with a fast draw time. Archers tempo is an available perk on the weapon, which will provide players with faster draw speeds in-between every precision shot. Until further details, the weapon is currently only available in Season 10 and has not been revealed to be a recurring weapon for the upcoming Season 11. Completing Iron Banner bounties will reward players with pinnacle gear that can raise light levels quickly and other items, so make sure to have turned those in.
