Jin tries to walk over to pick up his sword but is then shot with an arrow once more by a sniper way out in the distance. The narrator states that "some say he died," as the arrow strikes him down. The next shot contradicts this as he is seen riding a horse through a wide open field. This is where the gameplay is shown off in the trailer, as the first bit of playable action that is shown is the horse riding through the fi While many video game enthusiasts will likely have their hands full for the immediate future with titles like Resident Evil 3 , Doom Eternal , and Final Fantasy VII Remake , it's easy to look at games on the horizon and wonder when they'll see the light of day. There are even persistent rumors that next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X might not hit their 2020 launch windows, or that, if they do, they will be in exceedingly short sup These are uncertain times, and the state of the world seems to be shifting on a daily basis. Video games are relatively low on the totem pole of immediate crises facing civilization at the moment, but with so much of the population forced to self-quarantine for their own safety and the safety of others, it's easy to see why the passionate PlayStation fandom would be worried about the release status of tent-pole titles like Ghost of Tsushi The extended trailer at The Game Awards showed additional contextual scenes for the standoff in the woods. Before the battle with Jin, the Mongol clan were disposing of dead bodies, presumably those of corpses belonging to the local village. They then proceeded to pack up the cart full of supplies, also potentially implying that the clan raided the village. As the showdown happens, the trailer cuts away right after Jin pulls out his smoke bomb. The trailer flashes back to another scene where a brutally injured Jin is seen limping across a battlefield filled with arrow ridden corpses as narration talks talks about the elusive Ghost of Tsushima . This is not to mention the arrow already sticking out of his b While the PS4 has seen its fair share of sequels or reboots of older properties from PlayStation's past ( God of War , Infamous: Second Son, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End ), Sony has also brought about entirely new worlds and characters for us to fall in love with for the first time. In a time where many games that are released annually have started to feel a bit derivative and by-the-numbers, PS4 exclusives like Horizon Zero Dawn , Death Stranding , and Until Dawn have been some of the most captivating and enjoyable games for me on a personal level these past few years just because of how fresh they f There are a good number of PS4 exclusives coming in 2020, which is surprising considering the scheduled fall 2020 launch of the PS5. The PS4’s 3 big action exclusives - _ FF7 Remake, The Last of Us 2, _ and _ Ghost of Tsushima _ - are going to give the PS4 one great final y In terms of Ghost Of Tsushima news|https://tsushimagame.Com/ of Tsushima , Khotun Khan is a cunning and ruthless general of the Mongol Empire. The Great Khan is voiced by Patrick Gallag Details on the PS5’s launch are still a little scarce so the latter half of 2020 is more on the empty side for Sony as of now, but that could obviously all change with a PS5 reveal event . The first half of the year is going to be huge for the PS4 though, as it’s getting (and has gotten) a big exclusive title every month until June. In February, Sega’s _ Yakuza 5 _ and Sony’s own _ Dreams _ (by Media Molecule) launched on the PS4, but the games that most people have their eyes on start to come out in Ma Sucker Punch has set the bar very high for themselves with their past success making Sly Cooper and Infamous games. Throughout three generations of PlayStation consoles, the developer has been a mainstay for gamers on the platform. It seems like Ghost of Tsushima is up to the challenge of raising the bar higher than ever before, as Sucker Punch looks to cap off the PlayStation 4 with perhaps it's last AAA exclus Is Ghost of Tsushima going to be the best game of 2020? I'm not a fortune teller, so I have no idea. But could it be my personal favorite game of 2020? Sure, why not. Sucker Punch, for my money, is one of the best developers in the video game industry and based on what we've seen so far, this could be shaping up to be the true swan song for the PS4 (sorry, The Last of Us Part I The game revamps the combat of the original by having the player take a more active role in battles compared to the turn-based nature of the 1997 game. Sucker Punch is one of the most admired developers in the gaming industry, and perhaps best known for creating the Sly Cooper and Infamous series of games. In 2011, Sony purchased Sucker Punch to produce games exclusively for PlayStation. Sucker Punch has always worked within short development windows, with the longest period in between releasing games being four years. The length between the release of the Studio's last game Infamous First Light and the scheduled release of Ghost of Tsushima will be six years, prompting some to wonder if the game would be better off debuting on the PlayStation On top of that, some more details on Ghost of Tsushima have emerged. The story will unfold in conjunction with world exploration, expressed in game design decisions like the grappling hook, which will allow for scouting around enemy camps undetected. Players will also encounter multiple side characters on their way. These NPCs will potentially serve as allies, but their attitude towards the protagonist will be based on the decisions players make. Sucker Punch has also confirmed that iconic works by Akira Kurosawa served as the source of inspiration for the g While many video game enthusiasts will likely have their hands full for the immediate future with titles like Resident Evil 3 , Doom Eternal , and Final Fantasy VII Remake , it's easy to look at games on the horizon and wonder when they'll see the light of day. There are even persistent rumors that next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X might not hit their 2020 launch windows, or that, if they do, they will be in exceedingly short sup The first invasion took place in 1274 with about 900 ships setting sail from South Korea. The island of Tsushima was the first location of the conflict thanks to its location to Japan. With a small number of soldiers against a massive invasion force, the Tsushima army held out as long as they could but ultimately fell. The Mongols continued forward to Iki Island next, before making landfall at Hakata Bay on mainland JaStory has always played a key role in Sucker Punch’s history, from Sly Cooper’s journey to understand and recover his family’s history, to the various superhuman Conduits’ paths to saving or ruling over their respective cities. But what grounds these plots and makes them relatable comes down to the supporting cast, as Bentley’s gradually increasing confidence, Murray’s happy-go-lucky demeanor and Zeke Dunbar’s outgoing nature all compliment the behaviors of their respective companion, with each of them remaining dedicated to assisting their friends as best as possible in these difficult times. While traditional samurai stories can often rely more on introspection and seclusion, Sucker Punch has already begun teasing some of the key figures that will play a role in Jin’s fight , including the conflicted ally Masako and his concerned uncle Shimura. With many elements of Ghost of Tsushima secrets|https://tsushimagame.com/ of Tsushima’s plot yet to be revealed, there’s room for additional characters to come in and both encourage and challenge Jin on his quest, and Sucker Punch’s past with deep and relatable characters is a testament to the potential of this promise being fulfilled when the game launches on June 26 for PS4. The highly anticipated Ghost of Tsushima has just become a lot more appealing to old school gamers thanks to the way players will explore the world, as there won’t be any certain waypoints to rely on. This will bring the game closely in line with the exploration of iconic titles like The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind , which challenged its players in similar wLast year, Seattle-based developer Sucker Punch Productions celebrated the 20th anniversary of their first game release, Rocket: Robot on Wheels for the Nintendo 64, which has likely become the developer’s only title to release on a non-Sony platform. After signing a deal with Sony in 2000, Sucker Punch went on to produce two prominent PlayStation-exclusive trilogies, starting with the stealth platformers of Sly Cooper on PS2, and followed by the open world super-powered adventures of InFamous that spanned across PS3 and PS4. The largely-positive receptions of the six games has led Sucker Punch to become one of Sony’s predominant first party developers alongside Naughty Dog and Insomniac, but since releasing Infamous: Second Son (and its spinoff First Light ) in 2014, the team has slowed down their release schedule as they work on their most ambitious game to date, Ghost of Tsushima. Originally revealed near the end of 2017, Sucker Punch has returned to the realm of open world journeys but turned the clock back to the 13th century, as one of the last samurai of ancient Japan looks to defend his people against the invading Mongols. With Sony yet to provide any hands-on opportunities with the title despite it being less than three months until release, one would be better suited to look back at Sucker Punch’s history and the strongest elements of their games to potentially determine the key lessons that went into developing Ghost of Tsushima.
