L.A. Noire was an interesting step in a new direction for Rockstar. Developed by Team Bondai and published by Rockstar, L.A Noire took us back to 1940s Los Angeles in a Noire setting made popular within the film industry. Controlling Detective Cole Phelps, you work your way through the divisions of the LAPD, solving some of the best and most gruesome cases 1940's L.A has to offer. As well as this, Rockstar introduced a free roam mode, allowing us to explore the era in all its glory. While the game grossed highly and is rated among its fans, it did receive some criticism for being boring. Although it is argued that the slow pace and difficult interrogations help build the atmosphere for the overall experience, many feel they still missed the boat in some circumstances, actually turning the whole story into a bit of a d What a low move to actually make assassin’s more powerful. The only thing saving the squishies before was the power of supports. Take away their power and they’re useless yet again against that gap-closing assassin. Is this what you want, R GTA V in its original state hit shelves in September of 2013. The next generation version came roughly a year later, with the PC version hitting in early 2015. Rockstar has been gradually updating GTA V online since then and working on Red Dead Redemption 2 . Rockstar is known for taking a long to release games, but five years between projects is long, even for them. When GTA IV released in 2008, Red Dead hit only 2 years later in 2010, which was followed by GTA V three years after that. The company must have known what their next game would be for some time. Maybe this prolonged development cycle is another sign that the game is in a very rough state and the delay is for more than just pol How intense is Lee’s face? It alone will cause you to go into convulsions. But aside from that, the entire idea of the comic is hilarious. Fear the support! Fear them! They have wards aplenty and aren’t afraid to use them. Dare to mess with them and they will squash you like a bug! No offense Kha’ When it was first announced that GTA V would have three player characters, it seemed like a bit more of a gimmick to deviate from its previous games than a truly enhanced gameplay experience. But those thoughts were quickly silenced once players saw how much fun having multiple characters could be. Having the freedom to play with different special abilities, personalities, and intersecting stories makes this feature an absolute shoo-in for Red Dead Redemption 2 . Judging from Rockstar’s pattern of releasing larger, and larger sandbox maps with each new title, having multiple characters scattered across the map could make for a much easier and more natural way of exploring it, than simply fast traveling. The vast lands could unfold as the player uses each character from the regions of the different regions of the In the years since its release, The Searchers has long been held up as one of the greatest Westerns of all time for a variety of aspects, from its beautiful cinematography that captured the American West in all its grandeur and one of the best performances that John Wayne has ever brought to his long stable of Western films. However, what really sets The Searchers apart is the fact that the film brought a sense of maturity and darkness to Western films at the height of their popularity. Shigeru Miyamoto famously said, "A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever." There are examples both for and against this in the games industry, but with the recent delay of Red Dead Redemption 2 , many have wondered what this might mean for the title. While most turn to this quote and hope for the best, there is still a chance that things aren’t as good as they seem over at Rockstar. The company is famously tight-lipped. Even if there was trouble, we would never hear about it. With so many secrets still up in the air, we set about taking a different angle on the game’s de Both backstories include heavy swords and how impressed the elders were with each child’s ability to carry them. But only one of them could actually pick their sword up and not have to slow enemies down in order to catch t While it’s great that Rockstar is probably creating a whole new map for Red Dead Redemption 2 , it would be a lot of fun to revisit a location from the previous game to see how it’s changed. While it’s still unclear whether or not Red Dead Redemption is a prequel or sequel, either way it would be fun to see how towns like Blackwater and Armadillo have changed. If it’s a prequel, maybe players could see the early settlements of Blackwater, or a time when Thieves Landing wasn’t just filled with brothels and, well, thieves. If it’s a sequel, it would be amazing to see how a town evolved, like Armadillo, either grown to a hustling town like Blackwater or turned to a ghost town by bandits. Getting to explore areas that players did before would not only be a fun shout out to the original game, but help cement the open world games walkthrough that Rockstar is trying to cre
