I’m admittedly a little less into The Legend of Korra , but it’s still probably in my top ten TV shows. This is a universe I’ve devoted hundreds of hours to, and I’ll be damned if Nick is bringing out a Smash -esque brawler that forgets about some of the best characters in animation history. Despite four modes (five if the single player's Trials is counted) there's not much game in Oh My Godheads . Every mode is very brief, even if Party Edition 's new set-up of a tiered Tournament style is chosen. It's easy to bounce around all the maps and interact with all the Godheads in under an hour and by that point even the most aggressive friend group will likely grow tired of Oh My Godheads ' repetitive gameplay. The powers, maps, and different characters don't add enough replayability. The struggle for one disembodied deity head is the same as the next even if it's hilarious to play as a skeleton named D Each wide button is some 30MM across and they are very sensitive. They only descend a tiny amount when you press them, but I found this to be rather effective for long inputs. You’re a lot more certain that you’ve correctly pressed the buttons during long inputs thanks to this feature. In addition, they click pretty loudly when hit. Honestly, I found that the buttons and the joystick might be a tiny bit too close to each other, but it’s easy to get used The longstanding popularity of the Super Smash Bros. series has produced numerous copycat games which sought to emulate Nintendo's success. Some have certainly been more successful than others, but there's now a new contender that has the potential to provide a truly unique fighting game experience. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is taking some classic characters from Nickelodeon's long history and pitting them against one another in a colorful and crazy fighting game that already looks like a promising Super Smash Bros. cl The reveal for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl showcased a lot of what players can expect from the game when it comes out later this fall. The explosive combat that's to be expected from a Smash Bros. -style game is all there, and a handful of maps have been shown that highlight various Nickelodeon properties. The centerpiece of the game's trailer, however, was its revealed characters. While some properties were given more representation than others, there were some pleasant surprises and deep cuts for longstanding Nickelodeon fFirst of all, check out the trailer itself, which you can view above. As distinctive as Ba Sing Se is in Avatar, the portrayal here is 2D and nondescript outside of a vague coloration similarity. You might not be able to tell by looking at it, but the stick is pretty heavy. It has the durability that you look for in good sticks and it doesn’t seem like it’ll break very easily.
