Even as Patrick Star is getting a spin-off , Squidward might be the most recognizable character in the entire show next to SpongeBob himself, mostly due to his popularity in meme culture. For the sake of comparison, SpongeBob has an 8.2 , Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has a 7.8 , and The Wild Thornberrys has a 6.7 , all of which - as mentioned in the first paragraph - have characters representing them in the game. When you consider that Avatar: The Last Airbender is Nickelodeon’s highest-rated show of all time, and that Nick recently set up Avatar Studios as a means of specifically focusing on the future of that series, it would seem absolutely absurd for it to exclude it from its upcoming brawler.


The pad feels similar to both the Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers, except for the lack of both analog sticks and additional shoulder button room. For example, in MVC3 , after using a hard knockdown attack in the air with Viper, you must quickly land near your opponent and input HCB+AA to use her super which will carry her opponent off the ground and set them up for further devastation.
