For starters, Esposito has already depicted several iconic villains on both TV and film previously, ranging from Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian to Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad . Fans recognize Esposito for his calm and collected demeanor based on his iconic Breaking Bad character Gus Fring, but he's taken on other roles that reflect a more charismatic side of Esposito that's not often recognized. One particular example is his clever and boisterous character Buggin' Out from Spike Lee's Do the Right Thi
Where Gus Fring was a calculated and intelligent character, Buggin' Out was an energetic and outspoken character. Esposito embodied a character in Do the Right Thing , which came out in 1989, that represented a polar opposite of Gustavo Fring. His brashness and argumentative nature was what made Buggin' Out's character so endearing, using his wit to challenge what he saw as wrong. Esposito has the potential to craft characters that vary far beyond his most recent work, and is something he could certainly draw from should he take on a villainous role in Far Cry
Ubisoft has had a tough year, but pretty soon the publisher will be mounting a presumably huge comeback. Already there's been several triple-A projects confirmed by Ubisoft for release during the 2020 fiscal year, notwithstanding any social distancing development concerns. With Ubisoft Forward happening in just a few weeks, the publisher will likely showcase every new and existing project headed for release any time between this Fall to next Spring. One of those is more than likely going to be the next Far Cry g
It's worth mentioning that Ubisoft has put out a survey before, asking for input on possible locations, and one of those was an environment-survival game based in Alaska. In other words, alongside fighting against the primary antagonist in the region, the harsh climate of Alaska would be a common factor. With its low population, variety of regions such as its Denali Mountain and Aleutian Islands, and economy based on fishing, natural gas, and oil, there's a lot of potential story angles for Far Cry
Among other rumors and leaks, the next game in the off-kilter shooter franchise has been confirmed to be in development from leakers and big name media who've been correct before. It's been a few years since a proper Far Cry sequel has come out, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched to expect a new entry coming soon. Ubisoft Forward would be the perfect opportunity to unveil or tease the game, especially if it's going to be due next Spring like us
As for what to expect, it's tough to say. There's very little known about the next Far Cry that isn't just a rumor or corroborated with another source. Most of the "leaks" just allege that Far Cry 6 certainly exists in some capacity, which may be true but that's a little more than obvious at this point. Each gameplay/story leak alleges something completely different, ranging from a sequel to Far Cry 3 with Vaas as a returning character to the return of a tropical setting and helping zoos with jetpacks and "Narcos" inspired elements . In case the second part of that sentence wasn't enough, it's also important to note that there's little to no backing/evidence for any of these leaks. Some early leaks for a North Korea setting were bolstered by a Far Cry /Ubisoft fan survey, but that was not conclusive by any me
In a recent interview, actor Giancarlo Esposito was discussing processes for acting in motion capture for The Mandalorian . During that portion of the discussion, Esposito specifically mentions a "huge" video game he's working on that he can't discuss. Rumors flew for a while until a new report seemingly confirmed that game was Far Cry 6 . The article has since been taken down so it may be false, but it's impossible not to wonder what Esposito could bring to the table as a villain in the insane franch
Far Cry , the very first game, took place in Micronesia, while Far Cry 2 took the franchise to Africa. Far Cry 3 brought in the iconic villain Vaas Montenegro and took place on Rook Island in the Pacific. The next numbered entry took players to the Himalayas and pitted them against Pagan Min, while Far Cry 5 brought players to Montana in a fight against a religious cult. And these are only the number entries, practically beginning the question of where Far Cry 6 will
Playing video games is a lot of fun, but it's even more fun when you're playing with friends. That's where co-op gaming comes in, which gives players a chance to work in teams to journey through their favorite titles together. Co-op offers a way to play games with others that doesn't include always being in player versus player mode or engaging in a game world where it's a free-for-all, and everyone is out for themselves. In co-op mode, teams share resources, weapons and items, and cover each other when the bullets start flying their
For unveiling the next game, the beginning of July will likely begin please click the following post teases for what will ultimately be the full Far Cry 6 reveal trailer during Ubisoft Forward. Far Cry 5 's marketing strategy saw a lot of success in building anticipation for its Montana action romp, so the publisher will likely do something similar this time. For Far Cry 5 , the game was teased a week prior to Ubisoft's E3 showcase with the "Welcome to Hope County" videos, each showcasing peaceful scenery shots of Montana interrupted by something disturbing. Clearly teasing the setting and tone for the game, it was subtle but obvious enough to get fans excited for what would be next for the Far Cry franch
