Due to Geoff’s excessive mention of giraffes in games, I grew confused when Geoff Tweeted a different species in a Tweet reading, “Best Performance of 2019? #thegameawards” and used a photo of HouseHouse’s Untitled Goose Game . But then it became clear that Geoff must believe that the goose is, in fact, the giraffe of the duck world.

Fatherhood in _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ might be a little more subtle as a theme than it was in the first game. Main character Arthur Morgan fights against time in many different ways throughout the story of the game, so it’s not particularly surprising that he doesn’t really have the chance to play the role of father in the game. Naughty Dog spent the last half of 2018 releasing trailers for The Last of Us 2 , including a gameplay trailer at E3 that looked so good that several gaming industry professionals attempted to claim that it was fake. The developer assured fans The Last of Us 2 's gameplay was real ; however, they weren't as forthcoming about the release date. The Last of Us 2 is expected to release in 2019, and it picks up several years after The Last of Us , in a post-apocalyptic world where little Ellie is all grown up and fighting zombies on her

The rate at which Geoff Keighley’s continued recognition of giraffes is going, I believe he’ll be making it mandatory that his industry friends incorporate a giraffe of some sort into all of their projects by the year 2021. Eventually, we’ll be seeing giraffes becoming a national video game icon, and we’ll have Geoff to thank or hate.


Although no release date is available yet for Death Stranding , the general consensus is that it will arrive in 2019. The hype behind Death Stranding is real, too, because it's the first game that Kojima will release after his departure from Konami. Trailers and teasers, however, show a title that seems complicated and confusing and entirely too enigmatic, but fans are still clamoring to get their hands on the game that features such massive stars as Norman Reedus, Guillermo del Toro, Mads Mikkelsen, and Lindsay Wagner. It has something to do with the connection between life and death, but the rest of the plot remains a myst

Players can contribute supplies to survival caches, containers, roads, paths, and other important exploration tools for getting through the game's abstract, apocalyptic interpretation of the United States. Because the main premise of the game is re-connecting the isolated United States together after supernatural disaster, many of the gameplay concepts reflect that idea. Players are both encouraged and rewarded for placing objects in the world that aren't necessarily imperative for themselves, but could save lives for others, at least conceptually speak


But that's still two years away, and that means that there are still a lot of great games releasing exclusively on the PS4. Some of the games expected in 2019 are probably some of the most highly-anticipated games in recent years.
