Without a doubt, many remember the days where there was constant debate between Battlefield and Call of Duty . Which shooter was better and would leave a bigger mark was constantly tossed back and forth until franchise fatigue began to hit both titles. While both have preserved, it seems that conversation has shifted more toward Call of Duty in recent years, as its recent string of games have been seemingly better received than Battlefield
There are definite pros and cons with having Battlefield 6 in a modern setting and the Kazakhstan rumor doesn't tie into it too neatly. One other option that could be explored by DICE is a 20th-century setting when Kazakhstan was still a part of the Soviet Union. Using this time period might be a more natural way to involve Kazakhstan in the conflict of Battlefield 6 without it coming across as too forced. While this notion might not be ideal for some fans, it could be a more fitting way to involve Kazakhstan as a locat
Fans of the franchise are currently busy speculating about the different possibilities as to how Battlefield 6 could be an evolution of the formula, and one such rumor/speculation suggests that Battlefield 6 would include better destructibility mechanics. This has seemingly been hinted at by DICE, though that's no promise either. While it remains to be seen how such a thing pans out, DICE should take the opportunity to make this a meaningful part of the gameplay loop and not just a gimm
While most of these more recent shooters have put a hard focus on gunplay and multiplayer, each game do try to sneak in some form of a narrative experience in between the explosive combat. While Call of Duty captured audiences in the original Black Ops in 2010, the campaigns have since been somewhat suffering as the developers put more emphasis on improving multiplayer, like Warzone . When the developers tried to create a similarly captivating experience in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War , the missions were enjoyable, but overall the campaign was too short to make any lasting impact. Battlefield 6 can improve upon the short single player experience Call of Duty
The inclusion of a new battle royale is not very surprising at all. The genre is still extremely popular, and Battlefield 5 had its own battle royale, Firestorm. The return of select fan-favorite maps is also pretty standard for multiplayer FPS games, and the increase in player count in matches is a logical step for the series to take advantage of the new generation of home consoles. The most surprising claim in the post is that Battlefield 6 is a collection of all previous games in the series as well as an entirely new title, allowing players to set up servers playing previous games exclusively, or to even mix the assets and mechanics from different games into their matc
That's not to say mum's the word on Call of Duty 2021 , however. The latest rumors and reports seem substantial enough, indicating the game is called Call of Duty: WW2 Vanguard . Now, that's most likely a code name, but that like much else of the title remains to be seen. This presumably-developed-by-Sledgehammer-Games title is also said to take place during World War 2, and that begs a few questions. In terms of Call of Duty: Warzone , which it seems fated to merged with, that would involve going further back in time. Of course, all of this should be taken with a grain of s
Previous entries in Battlefield have used multiple locations and this could be the route DICE might take for Battlefield 6. While a Kazakhstan setting has been rumored, it also doesn't mean that it's the only location that will be used. Battlefield 2, for example, used several different fronts for its central fictionalized war, and considering the capabilities of modern consoles, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that DICE could look to do the same with the sixth main entry game. It remains to be seen if Kazakhstan will be the only featured location, but having multiple could make more sense for the new ti
There is a lot of information surrounding Battlefield 6 currently doing the rounds online. While few details have been confirmed, some of the unofficial information seems reasonable for a Battlefield 2042 news|https://battlefield2042guide.com/ game on the new generation of consoles. It has been suggested that the game will feature lobbies of up to 128 players, which would make for large-scale conflicts that fans would no doubt love to experience. Players will have to wait to see if any of the rumors are true when the game is formally revealed, but a recent rumor regarding its location raises further questi
