In 1986, Steve Jobs purchased the Computer Graphics Division from George Lucas's Lucasfilm and established the independent company we now know to be Pixar. In honor of the man who also founded Apple, Pixar has included references to the tech company or Jobs himself in a number of films. Most notably, the titular robotic hero of Wall-E makes the recognizable Mac startup chime when he's done charging, and Apple products like computers and iPods are shown throughout Toy Story 3 . Finally, after passing away in 2011, the end credits of Brave featured a dedication to Jobs in memory of his contribution to Pixar. That last one may not necessarily be hidden, but it's worth mention
It wasn't just powerful fighters or alien invaders that Marvel's Avengers had to tackle in their second team-up, but a girl who could force them to face their worst fears, or tempt them with a better life. For Captain America, that meant sending him back to a USO soiree before he was frozen for decades. Pay attention to the band though: the Roy Thomas Players aren't named after a musician, but a Marvel Comics leg
Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are all locked in as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Leia Solo, respectively - but recent rumors have suggested that other characters from the franchise's past could be coming back as well. But the question remains: is revisiting the past a welcome bit of nostalgia, or gamedealhq.com is it the same kind of misstep that the prequel films m
It's not often that filmmakers include messages in the credits, but sometimes they do so in order to offer special thanks to those that helped make the movie or they take the time to add in just one more joke. In the end credits of Frozen , the filmmakers included a message to assure audiences that Kristoff's assertion that all men eat their own boogers is his opinion only, and it does "not reflect the views or opinions of The Walt Disney Company or the filmmakers." However, it does seem that Disney, like Kristoff, takes the issue of ingesting nose mucus very seriou
Most of the hidden easter eggs inside Disney movies only manage to reference one movie at a time, but one shot in Tangled features nods to three other princess films. When Rapunzel and Flynn Rider are poring over an atlas while at the festival of lights in Corona, books referencing other films can be seen. One open book displays the story from the opening sequence of Sleeping Beauty , and two others are the storybooks containing the tales of Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid . It's unclear if Rapunzel has read the fairytales of her fellow Disney princesses, but it's a nicely hidden references to their fi
The 2013 Disney film, Frozen , catapulted to massive popularity with help from the catchy and inspirational "Let It Go." The film also features a handful of references to previous Disney and Pixar movies, like Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled attending Elsa's coronation. Some even argue Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from The Princess and the Frog also attend the event. However, you have to look more closely in other scenes to catch Frozen's nods to Monster's Inc. and the Mouse House. At Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna a wooden figurine of Mike Wazowski is sitting on the counter, while a Micky Mouse doll is hidden on a shelf. However, Anna decides to buy winterwear instead of these references to other Disney and Pixar characters, which we're sure was the best cho
Somewhere out there in the universe, a force is growing under a veil of secrecy and shadow - and not just any force, but THE force. We're now two years away from the 2015 release of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII and we still know little-to-nothing solid about what Disney has planned for its big re-launch of Star Wars - other than the fact that some familiar faces will be returning to the franch
Although many of the references in Disney movies are to characters from their animated classics collection or Pixar films, occasionally the animation studio will add in a nod to other characters under the Disney banner. In the scene in The Little Mermaid when King Triton makes his entrance in Atlantis to a room full of guests, many have spotted Goofy and Donald Duck sitting in the crowd. But, a second before they become visible, Kermit the Frog is shown seated farther back in the audience, recognizable by his green collar. We can only wonder why the Mickey Mouse and Muppets characters chose not to sit toget
For an added level of fun for fans, movies and television shows have been known to include easter eggs or subtle references that only the most diligent of viewers will find. But, Disney and Pixar take the inclusion of easter eggs and hidden details to another level. For example, Pixar includes references in its films to the next movie slated for release from the studio, while both Disney and Pixar often include easter eggs of other Mouse House characters in their animated featu
