All of this has been a serious problem for Bethesda. The publisher has had to issue an apology for the state of Fallout 76 and its communication , but that's unlikely to be enough to make fans forget any time soon. In the meantime, there's the rumblings of a class action lawsuit that the company will have to contend w
Landing is a key part of any game of PUBG Mobile . Deciding where to land can determine the tone for the rest of the game. It can also be the conclusion of the game if not done properly. It's important to pay attention to where opponents as landing. As when they land, they are looking for the same thing the player is, loot and weapons. Some high profile areas on the map would be large towns, power plans, and military bases. These can contain some of the best loot in the game, but its important to remember that other players may want this too. It's not recommended to land in an area where there's nothing around. By doing this, the player will find themselves alone and not finding any useful items. This is also just really boring. Find a happy medium between somewhere with loot and somewhere players will avoid. By defeating players, the player can take their loot. At the end of the day, it is a battle royale, the player will have to fight at some po
When PUBG was breaking records left and right and boasting player counts that gave Valve’s Dota 2 a run for its money, Bluehole seemed content to rest on their laurels and sporadically introduce updates while refusing to respond to player criticisms. The battle royale boom of early-to-mid 2018 saw them making money hand-over-fist, and a major reason for that was due to their popularity in krafton the bird that drinks tears Chinese gaming space. As a result, the developer wasn’t all that keen on doing anything to harm an extremely profitable economy despite the fact that it came at the behest of Western play
PUBG (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) was first released by PUBG Corporation on December 20, 2017. After it launched, it quickly became the staple of the 'Battle Royle' genre that's generating more mainstream attention worldwide. Inspired by the Japanese film Battle Royale , which was released in 2000, this game pits up to one hundred players (in teams of four people) on a diverse open-world map. The map is an island that's peppered with; rural, urban, and dilapidated regional areas that are updated with each season. Each match starts with everyone air-dropping on the island, freely picking the location on where to land, and making landfall totally unarmed. Once they touch the ground, the squads must feverishly scour the landscape for; weapons, gear, armor, and vehicles in order to efficiently "load up" for the skirmishes ahead and survive the ma
The Xbox version of the game, a half-baked port of a PC title which isn't well optimized as is on its lead platform, still runs poorly even on the powerful Xbox One X. Its fundamental gameplay mechanics are clunky and subpar compared to any other notable shooter, and it looks dated. Skip forward a year, and now PlayStation 4 players can experience the same disappointment and bugs. Little has changed, and shockingly, PUBG on PS4 is the worst version of the g
As mentioned, the circle is the biggest threat in the game besides the players. This circle can dish out large amounts of damage the longer the game goes on. Make sure to pay close attention to the minimap as it provides the player with the location of the circle and how much time before it begins to close again. Also, using vehicles is an excellent way to travel across the map in short amounts of time. Vehicles can be rare though, so once the player finds one, hold on to it close and use it as an advantage. The circle can also be used as a weapon of the players' own. By pinning a player in a tough situation while the circle is behind them, the opponent has to make a tough decision. Either move forward and get shot at or wait hit until the circle takes them. Spacing this out can be advantage
Yet, as player numbers dropped and competition became more prominent, Bluehole finally caved to audience demands and removed the ability to search for games by region. While it was a well-received—albeit incredibly late—gesture, it did relatively little to stem the torrent of cheaters plaguing Western servers. Players can easily use a VPN service to artificially switch regions, and there are similar workarounds for the ping lock restriction. Things may be a little better than they once were, but aim-botting, unkillable cheaters sporting triple-digit ping figures are still fairly common in most ar
PUBG has brought a whole new meaning to the word sterile. Even today the game looks like an earlier edition of Call of Duty that was stripped down to it's barest of bones. The only personality it has that comes to mind is the iconic level three helmet and the frying pan, but there's not much more than t
