5) Wait for the program to detect the latest version of Outlook, and then follow the on-screen instructions to update your Outlook. Corrupted or badly set-up Outlook profiles can often cause start-up problems. The app might refuse to launch or crash get Outlook running again at the splash screen. If you can't find a dialog box open, move on to the next step.
