For those that don't know much about the title and/or have lived under a rock in the past few months, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is an Early Access survival shooter that pits 100 players against each other in typical survival game/ Battle Royale fashion, developed by Korean studio Bluehole and Brandon Greene, the titular "PlayerUnkno


The next Monthly Update will also introduce the game's first new paid cosmetic items through a "crate and key system," which Greene took time in the community forum to address. Due to some of the negative reaction towards implementing the system, Greene expressed that the introduction and testing of the new paid cosmetics will "serve as the foundation of a healthy economy after launch," and will aim to "benefit all players - both who are willing to pay and who are not willing to pay for vanity items." While generally speaking most players that find better weapons, armor, and supplies will find themselves in a more advantageous position as the game goes on, what I really enjoy most about PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is the fact that being bigger or better is only part of the equation. As much as better guns will be vital to surviving, having the right combination of wits and strategy is also a crucial part of the PUBG equation, as diving right into combat is not necessarily always the solution for every engagem
