Personally, PUBG has been a mostly smooth experience with my build that includes an NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics card (which is just above the game's recommended spec of a GTX 1060 GPU), 32GB of RAM, and an i5 processor, though the game's optimization is far from ideal. It's come a long way now from its Early Access state, but there is definitely more work to be done to make PUBG a completely "stable" experie
