This classic game would serve as absolute nightmare fuel for Dead By Daylight as a DLC crossover. Having the map set anywhere within the Silent Hill universe would be eerie and any of the main characters would make great surviv

King's Canyon definitely had its nooks and crannies for crafty players to tuck themselves into to avoid a fight or prepare an ambush, but the sheer number of hiding spots and crevices in World's Edge is almost unreal in compari

The Charge Rifle is essentially a new energy-based sniper weapon that packs an incredible amount of punch. It functions a lot like the Havoc with a select-fire modification, in that it needs to "charge up" each s

A sniper rifle was always a wonderful thing to have in King's Canyon, but in World's Edge, it's practically a necessity. The terrain outside of the more built-up and urbanized areas tends to be incredibly open with little cover, and a lot of the map's transition areas and choke points can be covered from a great dista

Chapter 14 is not simply another release in the game, it is Behavior Interactive continuing to build their own unique world where the Entity must be appeased. Mathieu Côté described the future for the PS5 game Previews as continuing in this way, "the recipe of four chapters a year is now going to become more intensely packed, because in between each chapter we’re going to start releasing Archives. A lot of lore and exploring the backgrounds of characters and what this world

Fundamentally, the game looks to be identical on mobile devices. Despite being on a phone instead of a high end PC, "on mobile, this works very well. We had to make a few small changes, for instance, we added a rear-view button on mobile, because you cannot look behind you as easily as with a mouse and keyboard or controll

The key difference, however, is that during the "charge-up" period it emits a small laser that rapidly deals small amounts of damage, before dealing a big chunk with the main shot. It's an obvious telegraph, but has huge damage potential. It's excellent for counter-sniping, forcing enemies to either rapidly change positions or suffer crippling dam

Cargo Bots take the place of the "flyers" that were in King's Canyon, dropping payloads of loot for those brave enough to give away their position by shooting them down. However, there's a little bit more to them that necessitates some explanat

Such a take on the classic characters is by no means wholesome of family friendly, and it is exactly from there that I ask Côté if the team would consider taking the whole gang of Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred, and putting a unique Dead by Daylight spin on them as survivors. The answer was a resounding no, though not for any lack of try

With a successful movie franchise and a strong tv series The Purge would make a great DLC. The setting could be any old building or neighborhood and the survivors could be a number of characters from across the storylines, though Dwayne (The Bloody Stranger) seems like a good

It’s incredible this horror franchise doesn’t appear more in today’s video games. It has the right blend of gore, horrific atmosphere, and unique characters that seem like a shoe in for a DLC. Kristy Cotton would make a great survivor that fans could relate

The Killer could be a lot of options with all the terrifying killers in various costumes and outfits across the series. But a good standout is the creepy Polite Stranger from the first with perks to disrupt generators, sneak around, and detect hidden surviv

I first asked Côté if he was familiar with Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law , to which he replied, "Yes, I am a huge fan!" For the unfamiliar, the animated show is a real treat to watch, and revolves around many classic Hanna-Barbera characters facing ridiculous legal woes. In an episode titled, "Shaggy Busted", Shaggy and Scooby run into trouble when an officer assumes that they are high on drugs, working the hippie vibe of the characters, and the gang needs to plead their innocence in co

When considering the improvements that can be made to the game outside of updates and additional content, Côté described how it would be the leaderboards and ranked system that might receive attention in the future, "[the leaderboards] is something we put in early on and we’ve revised a little with emblems last year, but we feel like there is quite a lot of work left to do there. So that might be the next thing, but it’s tough to say, there is a few others really good idea we might decide to expand

When asked about this or franchises that seems impossible to implement, Côté states, "That’s a tough one, because the ones that I really want in are possible, but, the Xenomorph and even the Predator are really on that line, just past the line for use, but others would argue that they would be fine within the Dead by Daylight world, and that’s a long debate." There is no doubt that some would argue in favor of such a character, but one would expect Dead by Daylight to stick to more traditional, horror-based properties rather than mixing with too much science fict
