This shouldn't affect your overall gains too much, but you may want to switch this up depending if you're playing on the Manibus or Evolution's Call servers . If there is no Logging Beaver at the pier, you can force your way into a different instance by changing worlds in Once Human . Head back to the teleporter tower, then press G. A menu listing all the worlds in your server will appear. Go through each of them while checking the pier if there's a Logging Beaver available, and keep repeating the process until you manage to catch one.
