10 Underrated Franchises That Need A Reboot

Following all of the rumors/leaks surrounding an upcoming Fable 2025 Game Updates, we now know that the title is indeed in the works. Despite the fact that the game is already in development, there was nothing on it during Microsoft's E3 2019 presentation and it did not tell us why.


In the wide world of entertainment, there will always be the underrated and the overrated. While completely subjective, these two words can spark an argument just as easy as your uncle at a Thanksgiving table who feels the need to share his take on the current political climate. That said, these terms are so easy to throw around that it's infuriating to give them any power, yet you'd be remiss to not acknowledge they're sometimes appropri

TimeSplitters is a light-hearted FPS title that revolves around time travel and the results that can have on the past, present, and future. While the story frequently makes jokes and pokes fun at itself, the gunplay is incredibly tight and hearkens back to an older generation of shooters in a good way. Superb multiplayer kept players engaged for hundreds of hours after the campaign was over, and the in-depth map editor made every multiplayer game different from the last. With the recent trend of remaking older classics, there is no reason TimeSplitters shouldn't get a reboot.


Seemingly inspired by the likes of Rocket League , Roller Champions is reportedly a derby-themed multiplayer sports game that Ubisoft will reveal at E3. Leaks seem to give this game a solid amount of credibility, but this is still best taken as a rumor. Ubisoft has yet to acknowledge its existence, which could easily be taken one way or another, so tuning into Ubisoft's E3 2019 press conference is likely the best way to see if this rumor is t


Instead, we got Fable 3, a game full of boring gameplay and a story that felt just as stale. Even games like Mass Effect 3 and Dead Space 3 offer somewhat of a good game, Fable 3 sadly just has nothing redeeming


Bug Fables is pretty solid in every aspect, but I will admit to some mild frustration due to the game's dedication to being a Paper Mario tribute act. As a result of the flat style, sometimes the platforming and puzzle sections were a little awkward. Lining up certain jumps could be hard to gauge as the shadows under the characters were too light to reliably determine where I was going to land. This problem could be exacerbated if I was trying to go toward or away from the screen as the ground might not be fully visible due to the camera's position. The side view of the game could also be a hindrance to solving puzzles as it would be hard to properly aim abilities like Vi's Beemerang, which made some puzzles more annoying than they should have b
