If you're familiar with the characters in Apex Legends, then you are familiar with the adrenaline junkie known as Octane. He's an energetic guy who happens to sport a pair of bionic legs due to him blowing them off with a grenade in the pursuit of a race track rec
EA will also be showing off some of their upcoming sports games on its streams, with FIFA 20 and Madden NFL 20 both being part of EA Play. Not every game shown during EA Play will be an upcoming title, as Battlefield V (released in 2018) and The Sims 4 (released in 2014) will both feature streams that will discuss new DLC content for the ga
If Bloodhound wasn't such a cool tracker and hunter, people might assume that they were a theater geek. Bloodhound can often be heard speaking as if they were Norse and were auditioning for a role in the next Thor movie in the Marvel Cinematic Unive
There are eight playable characters (called "Legends") in Apex Legends Newcastle Legends at launch, and each squad member must choose differently. Two of the starting eight Legends must be unlocked through earning in-game currency or spending real-world money. Apex Legends embraces a totally free-to-play model on its platforms (Origin on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox O
Some of these rumors include the idea that Bloodhound is super rich and is simply bored with life while others think they're a bloodthirsty murderer. There's also a crazy rumor that they're a half-bat, and another that suggests the lack of identity is due to them being a former sl
Eradicating duplicates is just one of the for-the-player quality of life improvements Apex Legends offers. When starting a match, there's virtually no load time, nor is there a lobby waiting area. Players get into matches almost immediately. During gameplay players can mark and highlight enemies, loot, or any point of interest on the map (a version of the marking system from Rainbow Six Siege mixed with enemy marking from Battlefield ) for very welcome in-game intel sharing/communication. When picking up mods and armor, items are automatically equipped where they should be instantaneously and there's already ammo in the weapon. Every thing a player would want or imagine should happen with fundamental game mechanics, simply does in Apex Legends and it just goes to show how other shooters and battle royale games are missing out on some key featu
And while we're on the topic, you can absolutely interrupt an enemy's execution. Like I said, performing executions are very slow and they leave the player wide open for attack, so you might as well take advantage of the opportunity. But beware, attacking an enemy snaps them out of their attack animation, allowing them to defend themselves and/or perform counter attack against you. So you better make it count - a nice shotgun blast or two should do the tr
Great Rune is the name of a rumored collaboration between Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin and FromSoftware, which is said to be a dark fantasy game that is inspired by Norse mythology. There are rumors that the game is going to be announced during the Microsoft confere
Players love to execute each other. It's a nice way to rub your victory in their faces, and it looks cool to boot. But there's a time and a place for executions, and the middle of a gunfight is not one of them. You're better off shooting a downed enemy, because performing an execution leaves you wide open for attack. Plus, the animation is slow, so you're only wasting precious time by showing off. Save the execution for the last pla
One theory mixes game animation lag with in-game physics. Occasionally in Apex Legends , a player’s death animation will separate from their death box. This frequently happens when gamers drop in on the Supply Ship and fall victim to another team. The example below is unrelated to the ghost sightings, but shows the character's body falling off the ship, leaving a death box beh
It happens in most games - a particularly overzealous player sees some specks in the distance, pings their location to their teammates, and starts shooting at them with an assault rifle. This is probably the worst thing you could possibly do. Sure, if you have a sniper rifle, then go crazy, but otherwise leave them alone. It's not only a huge waste of ammo, but it gives away your position to them and the squads in the nearby vicinity. Try tracking inst
There are two upcoming Wolfenstein games that are likely to appear at E3. Wolfenstein: Youngblood is an upcoming first-person shooter that is set in an alternate universe where World War II is still going on during the '80s and the daughters of B.J. Blazkowicz have to journey to Nazi-occupied Paris in order to save their father. Then there's Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, an upcoming VR game and is set around the same time as Wolfenstein: Youngblood and follows a member of the French Resista
