I remember when my Dad brought home my first PlayStation, along with Final Fanstasy VII. I was so excited to be clutching that monster case containing 3 discs. In a Open World Games Money Guide where discs are becoming a thing of the past in favour of digital downloads, it seems crazy to think that any game created after 2010 would need anything like. This was not the case for L.A Noire on Xbox 360. Rockstar had put a lot of effort into their facial technology for this game, which was groundbreaking at the time, and it meant that actors would act scenes from the game to give a realistic feel to interviews in game, allowing us to judge their responses based on facial movements. This amount of data meant that the game had to span three discs on the Xbox format as they could not hold it on a single disc, unlike PlayStation who adopted the Blu-Ray disc format. Gamer's became upset with having to swap discs throughout the game, questioning whether this technology was worth spending mass amounts of money on when facial animators could have done a similar job. We all enjoy a smooth running game experience and this is exactly what Xbox players didn't

For quite a while now, Rockstar games has been a household name, famous for bringing some of the biggest and best games to our consoles. Originally created as a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar NYC was founded in 1998, now with 10 subsidiaries of its own. They boast a wide array of games, such as the Red Dead series, Grand Theft Auto series, Max Payne and L.A Noire . Rockstar have never been afraid to push the boundaries of social acceptance, willingly throwing obscene game-play, sexual content, offensive themes and just outright violence into their games. It's safe to say the majority of us lapped it up and continue to do so today, as Rockstar's games continue to offer an experience unlike any others. They have managed to create multiple worlds, with Red Dead and GTA at the forefront. Even though they are miles apart chronologically, the experiences are some of the most enjoyable on the mar
A bit hypocritical perhaps, but at least two Uncharted games and one Gears of War game could use some serious updating. Both Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune (2007) and Gears of War (2006) are horribly outdated compared to modern standards. It would be cool to see these games redone with modern gameplay and graphics. Uncharted: Golden Abyss (2012) was released on the PS Vita. Seeing it remade for PS4 would be sweet as pie. Personally, I’d love to see the collections bundled together ala Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Gears of War: The Locust War Collection would be so cool to have.

Undead Nightmare not only bought along a whole new storyline for the player to beat, but changed the mechanics of the game to give an entirely different and addictively fun set of challenges to survive. Not taking themselves too seriously, Rockstar took the fairly solemn story of John Marston and his family and turned it on its head, making it a zombie themed nightmare. By changing the gameplay and how danger occurred, Rockstar gave their game incredible replay value. Due to its popularity, Rockstar would be remiss if they didn’t include a game changing DLC like this one. Whether they want to go back to the living dead, or go a different route, like an alien invasion, it will surely add hours of more fun to their g

Red Dead Redemption ’s Online component also set a new bar for sandbox multiplayer games. The ability to create and organize gangs as well as engage in intense shootouts with other skilled players set the framework for what would become GTA V ’s amazing multiplayer experience. And who could possibly forget the genre changing DLC expansion, Undead Nightmare , that turned to the American West into a zombie infested hell hole, complete with rideable demon hor

This may seem a little selfish, but I really want support for PS3 and Xbox 360 to end. It’s not that I don’t like the systems. I love them both and have cherished my time with both, but it is time for the industry to move. Continuing development on these old systems continues to hold back games like Call of Duty, Destiny, Battlefield, and Far Cry. Developers can’t properly take advantage of the extra power in these new consoles if they’re being tied down by PS3 and Xbox 360. Now, developers can make last-gen exclusive games like Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, but cross-gen development needs to stop in 2015.

If you're like me and usually seem to have a rather large bounty on your head, then you might need to make (or loot) a quick buck. If you're in the vicinity of Fort Wallace, then head West, cross the river, and go up the mountain pass at Window Rock. You'll find some cave paintings. Arthur will make a note of them in his journal, and from there, cross the river and head just Southeast of the "I" in Ambarino on the
