There has been no official word if Rockstar Games plans to make remastered versions of RDR or RDR2 for the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. However, there has been some strong evidence suggesting there may indeed be plans to make a next-gen version of one or both of the games in the Red Dead Redemption franchise. For instance, alleged leaked information from earlier this year suggested that Rockstar was currently working on a remastered version of Red Dead Redemption, which would include new missions and gameplay. Later claims, prompted by a leaked Amazon listing which seemed to show that both RDR and RDR2 were getting remastered versions, seemed to back discover this up. If either of these rumors turns out to be true, players can expect Red Dead Online to also get an update, likely with new open-world content to explore and enhanced graph
