Now, based on all the information that has been revealed about Resident Evil 3 so far, it appears that the upcoming remake of the classic title will turn out to be another hit for Capcom. It is obvious that the developers have carefully curated all the remake's elements to make for balanced gameplay that perfectly blends adrenaline-pumping action with the franchise's iconic survival-horror mechanic. Luckily, players won't have to wait too long to try out Resident Evil 3 remake, given that a playable demo is launching soon with the actual game releasing shortly af

Apart from the many details that were recently revealed about Resident Evil 3, the most interesting one is the overall upgrade to the gameplay. Although it bears similarities to the 2019 remake of Resident Evil 2 , it is no secret that the Resident Evil 3 is more action-oriented than its predecessor. Capcom was able to achieve this by introducing a smarter artificial intelligence model for Nemesis and other monsters, and by equipping the player with a new ability that will make for more efficient and balanced gamep

A good example of this is the way Brad Vickers died in Resident Evil 3 remake. In the original game, Brad died in front of Jill Valentine, after he was captured and killed by Nemesis. This scene soon became one of the most iconic and memorable deaths in the Resident Evil franchise, and surprisingly enough, Capcom decided not to include this in the remake. Instead, the 2020 reimagining finally gave Brad his redemption arc , allowing him to sacrifice his life to save Jill. Sure it's disappointing that Brad was killed by zombies instead of Nemesis, but the change made for a better story, making Brad's death more meaningful as compared to the original g

But to balance it all out, and to retain the feel of previous Resident Evil games, Resident Evil 3 still has classic survival-horror elements as seen in the police station and hospital sequences of the game. When players get to control Carlos in the remake, Horizon Cauldrons Vs Zelda Shrines they are taken back to the RPD and almost immediately, the overall vibe of the game changes from high-paced intense action to the claustrophobic nature of Resident Evil 2 . The same applies to the hospital and sewers part of the game, where players find themselves in a confined space, making every zombie, licker, and hunter, much more terrify

Back when RE4's released, additional characters that needed to be occasionally saved were annoying and a downright drain on enjoyment. An update could see developers do more with Ashley while making her more of a teammate and less of a bur

Well, Capcom could be in danger with this if they are not careful. In the last four years, we have seen a new Resident Evi l game, two remakes, and rumors of another new title. The RE2 remake felt special because RE7 was a comeback. Another remake could feel like overk

This type of design would seemingly work best in a more open and non-linear map layout of Raccoon City, contrary to Resident Evil 2 's remake and all other Resident Evil games thus far, which could be fairly unique. It would make sense to have Jill moving around the streets of a Raccoon City hub-map utilizing different methods of avoiding the Nemesis as it tries to stalk her. The Nemesis may have his own arsenal of tracking methodologies , which sounds similar to the way in which the developers describe the enemy as having actual "ways" of tracking

The developers also state that the Nemesis has more ways "to track down his target Jill Valentine" in the new remake. This sounds potentially similar to a design structure that would more closely resemble the way in which Alien: Isolation 's creature was programmed , and how it dynamically traverses the map through both a mixture of scripted appearances and random exploration using its

Let's just be real here. While the RE2 and RE3 remakes are well-done and are an improvement on the originals, one of the reasons they are highly regarded does have to do with nostalgia. The feeling you get when you play a game from long ago can make you have strong feelings for

Ever since their introduction in Resident Evil 2 , Lickers became one of the most feared and most popular enemies in the Resident Evil franchise. Similar to Crimson Heads, Lickers are mutations from severely injured zombies, but this mutation is caused by a separate t-Virus strain. Lickers are known for their large exposed brains and extremely long tongue. Although these creatures do not have the ability to see, they are extremely sensitive to sound and are able to hunt their prey just by listening to their movements. Although Lickers were present in Raccoon City during the Outbreak, Jill Valentine wasn't able to encounter them, but it will be interesting to see whether these monsters will be present in the remake, especially inside the police stat
