You can find a horse out in the wild and tame them, or you can buy a new horse at a stable. Either way, be sure to study your new horse and learn what you can about them. And remember that, whatever horse you choose, they're embarking on this new journey with you. They're putting their trust in you. You're becoming their new best fri
Chief Executive Officer Strauss Zelnick accompanied followed the announcement up with a comment. Zelnick mentions the excitement for Rockstar's massively-anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2, and announces that Grand Theft Auto V is close to achieving 100 million units sold-in to retailers. Just in May, we heard that the game had passed 95 million uni
Well, don't. If you do, there's a bug that causes John, Sadie, Abigail, and Jack to completely disappear from camp until Chapter 4. They'll still appear during missions where they're relevant, but you'll miss out on any conversations, and most importantly, be unable to play Poker with them, until Chapter 4. If you do end up needing to retry a portion of the "Polite Society, Valentine Style" mission, it's best to restart the mission entirely or reload a previous save, until a fix comes
There are few companions that are going to accompany you for the entirety of Red Dead Redemption 2, but one that will be at your side for the majority of the journey is your horse. However, like any relationship worth having, you're going to need to put in some effort. Your horse isn't just going to be your buddy from the get-go; you are going to have to earn its trust. Having your horse on your good side will make Arthur Morgan's journey much easier, tho
Realism in Red Dead Redemption 2 Animals Dead Redemption 2 is a funny thing. The game seems to strictly adhere to it in parts, such as only being able to have two guns at arm's reach when off your horse. Yet at other times, it seems to flip completely, and go a bit bananas in the traditional GTA sense, with your horse able to carry as much weaponry as Fort Knox during a red alert. Regardless, I think they've probably got the balance about right, even if it does feel a little odd at times. They've made a good number of concessions to balance fun with realism. The focus is on having fun, and that's something that's definitely being achie
As the saying goes, "there's plenty of fish in the sea." The same can more or less be said of Red Dead Redemption 2 : there are plenty of horses in the Old West. You've got a lot of different options when it comes to who you choose to be your traveling companion, and whatever horse you choose, they'll be sure to appreciate the gesture. The more you use the same horse, doing just about anything, the more your horse is going to trust you. And in the same vein, the more you use the same horse, the more you may grow to trust the ho
If you've been looking forward to unlocking the Repeating Shotgun in hopes that it's something of an AA12, I'm sorry to disappoint. The Repeating Shotgun in Red Dead Redemption 2 is somewhat disappointing, particularly when compared to the pump-action and semi-auto. It does the same amount of damage as the pump-action, but it lacks its accuracy. Despite being a repeater, it also has a slower rate of fire than the semi-auto. Is it worth its $185 price? Absolutely not, sa
Like I said in the last entry, Red Dead' s got some supernatural flair. None are more in-depth than RDR1 's Undead Nightmare . It was a standalone expansion to the original game that added in entire modes, campaigns, and cosmetics. And RDR1 was already packed with content on rele
This shouldn’t even be a choice. Realistically, Arthur would have stayed with John up to the very end. Not every game needs some kind of cut off for alternate endings, especially when the story strongly favors one option over the other. There is no way Arthur would have gotten John so far only to abandon him for money he will never
Everyone is accounted for. Everyone save for Karen. The most Karen gets near the finale is a mention in Arthur’s notebook that she turned to drink. Meeting Mary-Beth in Saint Denis reiterates this idea and that’s as far as it goes. Does it make sense? Perhaps, but everyone else got their little epilogue. It seems strange Karen didn’t appear even in the form of a gr
