For support characters to consider for a hybrid build, along with the others mentioned, you should consider bringing Jianxin , Verina , or Baizhi along for your team as well. All three will provide different types of support depending on what you are looking for in a team. While Verina and Baizhi will be solid healers who can buff the team in their own ways, Jianxin is going to be able to provide the team with some of the best shields in the game as of the 1.1 update. All three aren’t going to be capable of providing a large output in damage, but they are great support options for almost all teams.
When considering some solid team compositions for Changli, you’ll really want to look at bringing Yinlin with her if you’ve gotten her. Changli works well with Jinhsi as well, but her synergy with Yinlin is on another level. Yinlin is really special in how quickly she gains energy and burns through her skills in her burst phase. On top of this, both characters can buff each other to deal even more damage. Yinlin is very versatile and quite possibly your best partner for Changli.

Sometimes you’ll need a ton of luck to get the characters you want in Wuthering Waves . But luckily, they do give you some nice starting characters to use for free if you’d like. Chixia is one of the free characters you’ll get from the story, and she’s a fairly viable gun user within the game. She is a Fusion element-based character that will be best used on the field as often as possible. She won’t require anything super special to start, but she can be one of your best 4-star characters if you take the time to get what she needs.
For weapons, you will want to prioritize getting Changli’s banner weapon to pair with her if you can. Blazing Brilliance is the 5-star weapon that is part of her banner event and will be the overall best option for you to use for Changli. Blazing Brilliance increases Changli’s Attack by 12% while also giving her 1 stack of Searing Feather when dealing damage. This can be triggered 1 time every .5 seconds and when using the Resonance Skill she will gain 5 stacks . Each stack of Searing Feather will give Changli 4% more Resonance Skill Damage up to 14 total stacks . After reaching the maximum number of stacks, they will be removed after 14 seconds .
If you are seeking a support role for Yangyang, you will want to use the Originite: Type II 3-star weapon. Even though it isn’t a higher-rated weapon, this one will restore 10% health when the Resonance Liberation is used. This can be triggered 1 time every 20 seconds and, while it won’t be the hardest hitter in the options, it can at least provide some nice support on top of being easily obtained. Unfortunately, this is the only viable support weapon available for Yangyang's healing build but it still gets the job done if it is something you're looking to try out.
Of course, the best weapons for most characters in Wuthering Waves will be 5-star weapons. 5-star characters are going to have their own signature weapon to pair with them, but the standard 5-stars that are part of the normal banners for the game will also be extremely nice for them. Chixia’s best weapon choice will be the Static Mist 5-star pistols. Static Mist will increase energy regen by 12.8% and when her outro skill is used, the next character will get a 10% attack buff for 10 seconds . This is the most optimal weapon for Chixia and one of the easiest 5-star weapons to get your hands on.
Yangyang may not be the strongest or most ideal character in Wuthering Waves , but she is viable until you've got the characters you wish to use. As a free character, she is still fun to use and build once you've got the right echoes and weapons for her. All that you'll want to keep an eye out for is to go ahead and gather her upgrade materials for her to hit harder or just support your teams a little better in general.
For the last team slot you are going to need or wish to have a healer, wutheringwavesoutpost.Com Verina or Baizhi will be your best bet for healing in general. While Jianxin can be built to do some minor healing, these two will provide buffs and amazing healing in general. Verine will buff the entire team with her outro skill and her Resonance Liberation will apply healing when damaging an enemy, even when she has been switched out for another character. Baizhi’s Resonance Liberation will also heal the entire team while also granting the next character to switch into combat, an entity that will follow and damage nearby enemies.
When you use Jue's ability, it deals some Spectro DMG in a large area and gives a special effect to your Resonance Skill. When you use this Skill and hit the enemy, Jue deals extra damage to these enemies at regular intervals for quite some t
