Horror games are a great way to show off new technology, allowing for features like ray tracing to really shine, so it's no surprise that Microsoft took advantage of that during the Inside Xbox event. Microsoft has already announced it will be holding monthly Xbox Series X streams over the summer as part of its Xbox 20/20 initiative, and Sony is yet to properly reveal the PlayStation 5 to the world, meaning that with or without E3 2020, there's going to be plenty of next-gen news on the horizon,...

EA announced a new Dragon Age months ago but hasn't revealed any major information about the game since then. It seems likely that EA and Bioware are waiting until the game is 100% ready to show anything off, especially after the disastrous launches of both Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem tarnished the reputation of BioWare, a studio once lauded for its masterful games. Nonetheless, the absence of Dragon Age was felt during the EA Play conference this year, forcing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order...

There were rumors that original Fable developer Lionhead Studios was planning to make a Fable 4 that was going to be "R-Rated," but with Lionhead shuttering and a next-gen Fable assumed to be under development under a completely new developer, none of those previous plans should be assumed about the game that could now be in development. If the next-gen Fable kept its silly, slightly irreverent tone while still making the game lighthearted enough to skew interest from younger players, Xbox could...

Often, Xbox brands itself with Halo, Forza, and Gears of War, as those are the most recognizable IP that Xbox has in its repertoire. But having a next-gen Fable could go a long way in letting Xbox present itself in a more multifaceted way. A sweeping, open-world fantasy world with Fable 's signature cartoony style could help Xbox reach fans of games like Nintendo's Breath of the WiWith the large amounts of video games releasing today, both from indie developers and AAA studios, not every game is...

While there are only rumors to go on, the place a next-gen Fable would likely be announced is at Xbox's virtual Series X event planned for July that will include games from its first-party studios. There was nothing over a new Forza game either but Forza Horizon 4 has been given an expansion. Playground's rumored to be working on another big project outside of the racing genre so you could well imagine what that is.Gothic is unique because it treats the world like a realistic place with magic and large threats. Most NPCs look out for themselves and the combat in this game is brutality incarnate. There is a charm to this game, however, that sets it apart from the likes of Skyrim or The Witc...

Similar to Diablo 4 , the Overwatch 2 reveal trailer plays out like a short TV episode or movie, more so than a traditional hype trailer. The Overwatch 2 Zero Hour cinematic features Winston, Tracer, and Mei going on a mission in Paris after Winston's Overwatch Recall initiative. The three of them attempt to fight Null Sector robots, but they eventually become overwhelFans had probably given up on the Fable series and that was probably fair as it did seem dead. These games include Gears of War 5 , a Gears of War battle royale spinoff , and a Gears of War strategy game in the vein of Halo WaMicrosoft still stole the show with its briefing, though. One of the biggest, if not the biggest game at E3 2019, was CD Projekt RED's ambitious open world title, Cyberpunk 2077 . The CG trailer introduced fans to the male version of V, showed off lots of newer story elements and plot points, and finally gave fans what they want: An actual release date for the game.
