Has anyone else found the PES material harder to connect together than expected?

I’ve been going through the Performance Enhancement Specialization (PES) material lately, and I keep finding myself going back over certain topics because knowing the concept is one thing, but figuring out how it applies to a training situation is another.

I stumbled across this resource while looking for some extra questions to work through: https://www.practicetestmaster.com/pes-practice-test.html

For anyone who has already gone through PES, what part gave you the most trouble? Was it assessments, exercise selection, program design, performance training, or something else?

And I’m really curious about the practical side. Did you ever get stuck between two approaches that both seemed reasonable? If so, what helped you figure out which one made more sense?

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you before you started studying for PES?
