Meanwhile, the return of some of the most beloved intellectual properties has failed to meet the expectations set of them, leading to plenty of disappointment from gam Rolex: You don’t have to live within PUBG 24/7, but you can if you want to. You mentioned your kids, and I've kind of half-joked that I'm too irresponsible to have kids, but it's like, for my generation, the genuine fear is real, that any world left to our children won't be one worth living in by the time they come of age. It's a good and righteous fight you and Megan are fight Even if we compare the OG maps from these two games it's a bit of a toss up as to which is the winner. Sure Fortnite has Tilted Towers, but PUBG has School; and in case you don't play the latter, School is a place where half of the lobby's players drop resulting in a massacre that leaves only one or two survivors who are barely clinging to life. But that's just the OG maps, PUBG now has four unique maps, all of which are just as good as the original in their own rights. Fortnite is finally making an alteration to it's original map, so there's not much competition h No. Me and the family, we sort of moved away from TV and video games and iPads and computers and iPhones. We try to get our kids outside and have them be as intertwined with the environment as possible. That's what I had when I was a kid. When I was a kid, I had a skateboard and the outside. If I was thirsty, I'd drink from a hose that I found, you know? There was that sense of, like, when the sun comes up, you go outside, and you play outside until the sun goes down. Those were my weekend days and my summer days. We really want our kids to have as much of that as possible. We want them to play outside and swim. They're really big right now with the neighbor kids playing "ding dong ditch," which is awesome because, as annoying as it is for us adults, it's really cool that the kids are into that! That was a huge part of growing up for me. And they're playing frisbee and riding bikes and skateboards and doing those outdoor activities. That means a lot to myself and Megan, and that's a big part of our family and what we do. When weekends come around, we're like, "Okay, what the activity going to be? What are we gonna do? Are we gonna go to a zoo? Aquarium? The museum?" We've got to find an activity. We can't just stay at home. There's too much going on in the world to sit at home and watch Still, surely they are supportive of those still playing the game, right? Wrong. For those brave adventurers still fighting the numerous bugs , Bethesda has handed out a couple of bans we still can't get our heads aro I don't know. Unfortunately, there's so much money involved in that. I think, what we do is, as humankind, as human beings, we constantly educate people on what the Earth needs and what our part on it is. So the more people we can make aware of what is going on and what changes they can do, it'll help, but it's gonna have to be on a global sc Most games nowadays are monetized by loot boxes, where gamers pay actual cash for in-game items that aren’t guaranteed. It is a form of gambling, and it preys on young and vulnerable gamers. So, it’s a breath of fresh air to realize that Fortnite ’s microtransaction system is the Battle Pass, which is basically a seasonal subscript For all of the disasters that 2018 has seen, none even come close to the failure that is Fallout 76 . Almost every aspect of Bethesda's multiplayer-focused Fallout game has been a catastrophe, not least the game itself. Fans of the series have been seriously let down with Fallout 76 , with the game including some ridiculous bugs and glitches and earning its position as the worst-reviewed Bethesda game in over a dec This is the part where many gamers rightfully bash PUBG into the the grave that it deserves to die in after introducing it's shady business practices. First, charge for a game that's an unfinished buggy mess that continued to be an unfinished buggy mess for years to come. Second, bring in a shady micro-transaction lottery system that rewards you with crappy cosmetic items for a bloated price. Third, copy the fair and successful battle pass formula that Fortnite has implemented since the start of the series. Boy are those PUBG devs shady, and while the Epic Game's higher ups are no less shady, they at least implemented fair business practices in their most profitable g PUBG has massive maps, so vehicles are often necessary to cross the map faster. This would be good enough with one or two types of vehicle, but PUBG has several. The vehicles range from vans to motorbikes and even buggies. They are also realistic, in stark contrast to the vehicles in Fortnite —like the shopping cart, golf cart and hamster b
