Far Cry 6 Location and Setting Revealed

I decided to explore this with a few choice examples after recently re-watching the awesome preview of Far Cry 3 that Ubisoft showed at their eclectic E3 conference. In the trailer, embedded below this paragraph, you are met by a madman named Vaas, who possesses an off center mohawk and a surprisingly calm disposition. He quickly turns violent, but his speech is riveting. His speech got me thinking about what makes a villain memorable. Vaas is someone who I already want to meet in the context of a game. He seems like the kind of character who has an interesting story, something to broaden my world view, and also something to give the game character. Maybe it is the way the he is so honest about his misunderstandings, or his casual, yet somewhat regretful, mention of murdering someone over that misunderstanding. Vaas is the kind of villain that you know would turn on you in a flash (indeed, he does in the trailer), but in spite of that, there is something about him that makes you want to see more of him. If Vaas' charisma is just an example of what we will see in the game, Far Cry 3 will be a real treat.


Overall, it seems Ubisoft has been casting a wide net to determine where the Far Cry franchise could go next. That being said, the next entry may be coming within the next year, as late as spring of 2021 according to Ubisoft's fiscal year release schedule. Far Cry 6 may even be a potential sequel or set in the same universe as Far Cry 3 assuming Michael Mando is being more coy than playful. While there were some rumors about a potential new Splinter Cell entry coming in the next fiscal year, the leaks were corroborated to be the now-confirmed Assassin's Creed Valhalla and the still unconfirmed Far Cry 6 . Earlier this year, during a Ubisoft earnings call, it was confirmed that the company would be publishing five of its AAA titles for the 2020-2021 fiscal year . Vaas represented a pivotal shift in Far Cry 's narrative structure that served to transform the series into something much more insane. Actors often like to have fun with AMAs and interviews as such, but occasionally tease things that could be true. The way its written seems more of a joke than anything, but it wouldn't be the first time an actor has hinted at a possible return. Vaas returning to Far Cry 6 may even mean the next game is a sequel to Far Cry 3 as well. Considering how iconic Vaas has become for the franchise since its third iteration, his return would be interesting considering he presumably died at the end of Far Cry


When most people think of big multiplayer games, the first ones that usually come to mind are shooters. However, Forza Horizon 4 shows that there doesn’t always have to be tons of action to make a solid multiplayer experience. Forza Horizon 4 is the next installment in the Forza racing series, and marks one of the best racing games to date. This open-world racing game gives players the freedom to explore the United Kingdom at their own pace, creating races and customizing cars all along the


Coming up next on the list is Far Cry 5, which takes players to Hope County, Montana, to bring down the doomsday cult heralded by Joseph Seed. Much like Far Cry 4 , players can play through the whole game’s campaign cooperatively, which can make for some hilarious antics thanks to the rich setting. Combining the wide variety of weapons and vehicles with the new companions and co-op makes for an incredibly fun and wild way to experience Far Cry 5 ’s rather dark narrative. _ Far Cry 4 _ played with this idea a little bit, but the factions were specifically part of the plot. You only got to side with one faction or the other at the very end. A faction system that is affected by gameplay would be a welcome addition. You could take down an outpost, then decide which faction gets to control it. It would be a nice change of pace and would open many story possibilities since you’re constantly changing the flow of battle between these factions. To make things interesting, each faction could also have their own perk that solely belongs to them. Meaning you can't use that perk unless you are partnered with them at the time. This would make the choices a lot toug
